How come Shisui Uchiha had Mangekyou Sharingan?

In the manga chapter 550 on page 9 can you clearly see shisuis Mangekyou and Itachi also mentions that Shisui possesed Mangekyou(Posting on phone and cant put pictures in) But how did he get Mangekyou? Its said that you need to kill your bestfriend, but i thought that Itachi was his best friend. Does anyone know how he got his Mangekyou any thoughts? :shrug:

One doesn't necessarily have to kill their best friend to unlock the Mangekyo Sharingan.
It can be unlocked via mental/emotional trauma and losing people that are close to you (as seen with Kakashi), or though other unknown means.

Kakashi manages to develop his sharingan without killing anyone but his Mangekyou has shown the ability Kamui so I think hes Mangekyou is somewhat special. xd

Aha, that could be true, and as a member of root you needed to obey Danzo, so thats why Danzo just took hes right eye I guess. :shrug:

Here is how you obtain the Mangekyo Sharingan;

The Mangekyō Sharingan is acquired through the trauma experienced from the death of the person closest to the Sharingan user. With the user normally having to witness or experience this first hand

To obtain the Mangekyō Sharingan, one must feel the emotion of losing a friend or family, as merely killing them or watching them die will not activate it.

You don't neccesarily have to kill your best friend, you simply have to Feel the emotion of losing the person closet to you.

Then how did kakashi got it? there must be other ways to get it and not just killing your best friend or someone close to you but we still don't know much about him so we can't assume anything.
