Hiruzen was labeled the GOD of shinobi. That means he > Hashirama.

Just like how people thought Hashirama was a fairy tale because they have not seen anything, well we have not seen anything from Hiruzen to call him a God.

Why do you deny Hiruzen this yet nobody challenges the 3rd kazekage's statement. STFU already. Btw Both hiruzen and hashirama fanbase also need to stfu. Just because hiruzen was said to be the strongest hokage, doesnt necessarily mean that hiruzen > hashirama. There is more to victory than just power

All I see are these words:

"The one KNOWN AS..."

and

"Often CALLED..."

What do these two phrases imply? OPINION. Until Kishi himself comes out and says "The Third Kazekage WAS the strongest kazekage ever" or "Hiruzen IS the strongest ninja ever" then all you're basing your "facts" on is an opinion of random fodder ninja. And don't try to prove me wrong with the whole "the databook was written by Kishi" crap, because in all of those Databook entries, the words used are ALSO "was called", or "was respected as", or "was said to be". Nowhere does it just say "was", which means that it is still the opinion of some random fodder ninja/villager, which means that you still cannot say that you are 100% right when you are basing your "facts" on an opinion.

Also, saying that people in the same era as Hashi and Hiruzen said that Hiruzen was stronger doesn't prove anything. People have seen both Peyton Manning and Tom Brady play football, and do you know what? People still are split on who is better. Just because somebody saw them both, doesn't mean that their opinion is right.

And we never seen him fight unlike the 3rd

Plus theres a good chance Gaara surpass him now sense the war arc

He was never stated to be the strongest by Kishi himself. Just because characters from the manga said he was, doesn't mean he was. Now, if you analyze his abilities and compare them to the other Kazekages, then you can say with much more certainty whether or not he was the strongest. But just because people say he was doesn't mean he actually was.

Same goes for "often called". And people CALLED HIM a God of Shinobi. Does that mean he was the best??? NO GODDAMMIT. It just means he was good enough for people to idolize him. Get off your high horse. Unless Kishi himself says that he was the best, you cannot say that he was. Also, I noticed you only countered (incorrectly) the VERY beginning of my post. Try the rest! Just cause Kishi didnt say it himself, doesnt mean it shouldnt be considered true
The databook and manga specifically say Hiruzen was strongest Hokage and reconize as such(meaning alot of people)
Hashirama was the strongest of his era
And never was said to be strongest Hokage

Even then Kishi pretty much clarafied whom was stronger in the fight with Orochimaru,Hashirama and Tobirama vs Hiruzen
