I don't think Kishimoto-sensei will ruin one of his best series by making a spin off of a character that does not get much screen time. At least I hope he doesn't.
If he does, I'm not going to read it. I'm not interested in Konohamaru and am definitely not waiting to read a manga with him starring as the main character.

Im jux saying he is the most comparable and the most likly to be the strongest in his generation. Even though there has been peace there could be people who still have grudge or even is jealous of naruto that they might want him dead. the only way he would die is if he is trying to save the village and there are other people who knows this.
