I've been thinking of things that could add more "depth" to NB using the mechanics and privilages already given to ALL members, one of them being the privilege to accumulate and spend Kumi.
1.The purchase of premium memberships witih Kumi:I was thinking that it would be a great Idea to be able to purchase premium memberships with Kumi. And to prevent "spamming" of this privilage, there would be a large price gap between each membership, and there would also be a time gap from when you can make your next purchase.
However, since this privilage would be purhcased with Kumi instead of actual money, it wouldnt last as long as a premium membership purchased with money would.
2.The "Bail Bond" System: The "Bail Bond" system would allow members to "pay off" non severe infractions. Meaning that you could pay kumi to have your Infraction expired immidiately. This can be useful when a member wants to keep his or her infraction points down.
Example: If you recieve a warning, the mod who gave you the infraction can give you the option of "Bail Bond" to have your infraction expired immediately, or to have the expiration date decreased.
Another Idea of this system is "Infraction reduction": Depending on the scenario, If a memeber recieves a severe infraction, he or she can pay a LARGE amount of Kumi to have that infraction reduced to a warning.
3.The purchase/wholesale of Role Playing Bios "The Bio Shop": Role Playing is one of the main privilages of the NB community. I've noticed that some members go through alot of work to get Bios made, and some just get lazy in the process and eventually forget about it.I've know alot of members who dont complete a bio due to all of the work they have to do to get it just right. This also can be frustrating to memebrs who are new or inexperienced to Role playing, or want to enjoy Role Playing but they dont have enough time on their hands to create a solid Bio.
Here is how this system would work. Members would have the option of purchasing approved Bios, or putting them up for sale. The members would come to agreement on a price amongst themselves. The member who sold the bio would have to confirm this in some fashion to keep confusion from spawning.
I hope at least one of these suggestions deem resonable and logical. How do you guys feel about these suggestions?
