Hashirama's ability

In that fight of Orochimaru vs. Hiruzen, Hashirama was deflecting Hiruzen's fire attacks with just his hands. Maybe that is another hint on how he beat Madara. Although Hiruzen's fire Jutsus are not on the same level as Madara's (Madara's seem way stronger from what has been shown). But I never remembered him doing it from that fight until I saw it again. Any guesses on how Hashirama is able to do that without burning his hands? Ninja's usually dodge those fire Jutsus, but Hashirama was just swatting them away like it's nothing. Lol

Note: It looked like the fire Jutsus that he was blocking/deflecting were Dragon Flame Bombs or Fire Ball Jutsus. And when you look at Hashirama running at Hiruzen, he's zooming towards him so fast, you can even here the noise, all the while he's blocking and deflecting the fire attacks. And his punches seem like a brick hitting Hiruzen. Poor Hiruzen.....

Madara is on a whole nother level than Hiruzen, you can't compare their fire style. Madara has mastery of all 5 elements.

Yeah true, Orochimaru is like that. But it was how Hashirama deflected them that I don't remember seeing before.
And Madara is on a different level with his fire jutsu compared to every other character, so it seems. I guess he wouldn't waste chakra using something that Hashirama could easily deflect.

Oh ok thanks, so it's anime only. That would explain why it's never been elaborated on in the manga or actual story.

*Although you guys make good points that he was an Edo or used Tenketsu. Like Edo's heal very quickly, and Neji has techniques like rotation, gentle fist, and gentle body blow.
