Hashirama misconception

A lot of people have been saying "Hashirama > edo Madara" because of the one line Madara said but that doesn't necessarily make it true.

During their fight Hashirama took control of the Kyuubi and most likely used it against Madara, he also had his wife become the jinchuriki to help him defeat Madara.

The image below is of Hashirama when he fought with Madara(ems) as it's around the time the kyuubi was sealed. He doesn't look like someone stronger to Madara with several power ups, immortality and unlimited chakra.

If I had to gauge where Hashirama's strength is, it would be around ms Madara, They fought several times and the fights turned out to be stalemates.

Be careful, some people will argue that instead of seizing control of the Kyuubi and using it against Madara, he took control of it and allowed it to run around aimlessly until the fight ended (and then had his wife seal it in herself afterwards). It's interesting that Madara was able to compare his Susanoo to a Bijuu, when the only notable time the two were in the same battle was infact Hashirama vs Madara (as Tsunade wondered how her grandfather was able to fight against it). This logically points to the fact that Perfect Susanoo had fought the Kyuubi, and that Hashirama was the one who was using it.

Just my take on things.

We came to know about infinite chakra and all in the latest chapter, but it was like that since the starting.

Every edo had infinite chakra...

And EDO MADARA himself said , that hashirama can stop him...

If he says it , means kishi says it, i know its hard to believe ,
But these are FACTS, something which you can't argue about.

Just accept it, the earlier you do it the better.

First of all you don't know how the fight went..no one but Kishimoto really knows the details, all we know is Hashirama won, do you think Madara would be Hashirama's number one fanboy (based on his constant praise for the man) if Hashirama had won against him using the Kyubi+Mito???

NO, he would not be!! He would say he was beaten in a cheap and unfair way, he would say Hashi was a coward, BUT you never hear such a thing do you? Instead it's more of the same admiration and repeated statements of Hashirama's power coming from none other than Madara himself.

I don't see the misconception. Whats does Madara and Hashirama fight has to do with the Edo Madara and Hashirama now? Never-mind. I understand, while comparing @Ryuu... post to Madara's statement, "Only Hashirama is able to defeat me" it makes perfect sense on why Kishi must have said that. Also, the other stuff is unnecessary, however, Hashirama not winning against Edo Madara and its not necessarily being true, I agree to some extent. However, its in the Manga which is stated by Kishi. You can't go against that.

2. your theory is pointless : no one said that Hashirama was with Unlimited chakra. He fought 9 tails and Perfect Susano at the same time so shud at least bleed and get beaten a little.

3. u say he used 9 tails against Madara but dont forget he had to defeat 9 tails first to control it.

4. how can be Hashirama be at MS Madara's level when he defeated EMS Madara with PS ( perfect susano) and 9 tails?

A little fail : Mito becoming jinchiruki has nothing to do with hashi winning the fight. It isnt proven in the manga anyway that mito was present at the fight.

Hashi is slightly superior to EMS madara as he cant heal his wounds(meaning he is out of chakra) instantly after the battle.
P.S MS madara's ability are not fairytale level as described of hashi.
I doubt hashi is more powerful than edo madara but dont say bs.
From madara's statement, hashi is the only 1 with a chance of stopping him

From your logic:

Neji cannot be defeated
Hiruzen is the strongest of all the hokages
Tobi is Madara
Kabuto is the closest thing to the s06p

so you are going to use that logic huh? by the way he said no genin can beat neji i believe. and if you count naruto powered up with 9tails chakra as a genin level shinobi i would have to disagree. i believe that kishi had tenten say that statement to make a point of letting us know that at that point, after the training with jiraiya and using the 9tails power, he was no longer a genin level shinobi. kishi was letting us know that naruto had grown and become stronger.

now back on topic. madara, who is cocky and arrogant, said that hashirama could beat him. someone with madara's personality would not lie about this.

The fact that he was able to stop the Kyubi while fighting Madara is just a huge feat by itself. Hashirama DOESN'T have a sharingan to just take control of the nine tails just like that. It must have been incredibly dificult.

And Madara knows and acknowledges this, that's the reason he keeps stating his admiration,respect and praise to the man.That's how powerful Hashirama really was even the great and pridefull Madara had to admit it.

Hashirama doesn't need sharingan to take control of the kyuubi, his mokuton can suppress their chakra, just like Yammoto easily stopped 4 tails Naruto even though he's a lot weaker.

Dunno about the contract but Madara couldn't summon it because it was sealed in Nartuo.

The fight probably was Madara/Nine-Tails vs Hashirama for a while then the Nine-Tails was taken by Hashirama and used against Madara.
