- Kushina could take the fox with her to her inevitable death; The fox would revive at a later date but not in Konoha's possession. This puts Konoha in a weaker political/bargaining position (in comparison to other villages) and something that Minato, the Hokage, had to consider. Kushina wanted to spare Minato's life.

- Minato could seal the fox inside his son at the cost of his own life. He was also able to add both his own and Kushina's chakra inside Naruto so that he could speak to them in his subconscious if the Fox's seal was ever weakened (as we saw when Naruto spoke to Minato vs Pain and when he spoke to Kushina during his fight vs Kyuubi). Key point is that Kushina was going to die, regardless.

You See Uzumaki have Such a strong life force that until they Give up on life they cant die even if you removed tailed beast from them they still can be alive.
From what ive seen Kushina & Nagato both were Superhumans. I mean Come on they didnt died even after using God like powers. And the interesting thing is they both died with there own will.
Kushina & Nagato both died cause they trusted Naruto with task to be Saviour.
So My Point is if they have Such Awesome Life force + Chakra.
A strong uzumaki like Naruto is Infact the Best Shinobi that will be Unstopable if he learns the 8th Gate Technique. You see after Opening the 8th gate a person gets Powers beyond hokage but that Person dies due to So much pain & chakra loss but thats were the Uzumaki special chakra plays Important part. Even after using The 8th gate Uzumaki due the strong chakra & life force can Survive and still be alive.

I do not believe that sage mode > 8 gates, also sage mode and 8 gates are enhancement modes meaning they can be stacked, they increase the base of the shino's power.

An uzumaki still wouldn't handle the 8th gate as well as Lee or Guy just because they train harder than anyone else in taijutsu and also with the technique itself.

Greater Life force /= lasting longer in the 8th gate.

Their bodies would be destroyed even quicker than Lee/Guy just because their bodies weren't trained to handle the strain. Yes they would still be devastating in the 8th gate, but without proper training and conditioning, they wouldn't last anywhere near as long as Guy/Lee.
