Lief has long, dark blonde hair that falls down diagonally down his face, and is about 5ft tall. He isn't extremely muscular, but his body is well trained and not too skinny. He has a lighter skin colour and small blue eyes.
He normally wears his Konoha Headband slanted abit to the side [ Abit like Kakashi ] And his wear rolls over the top of the headband. He wears the normal shinobi konoha outfit.
Personality:
Outside of battle, Lief is a very enthusiastic and open person to any new things that may come his way. His mind and wits has been sharpened by his life in the forest and is very aware of whats going on, and rarely gets confused in battle. In battle his personality changes drastically, he becomes serious and focused and never loses his cool.
Being in the forest for the first ten years of his life, his sense of hearing was sharpened as the forest was always silent and the smallest sound could always indicate danger. Whenever he heard something out of the ordinary he would always be quick-thinking and calm.

Background Info.
History: Growing up in the forest of death, life always seemed to be harsh for Lief , living in a socluded, small house in a small valley where a thick grove covers the entrance. He was never allowed to far from the house, and never understood why he was forced to live in such dangerous and hostile conditions with his parents. Food was scarce, and they relied indefiantly on rain to grow crops ( Which rarely grew in such a bad area )
His parents would tell stories of the ruthless ninja who fought for nothing more then power, and were greedy and completely evil. Who spoke of nothing but domination and increasing their own wealth and way of life, never giving only taking.
As he grew older he started to question their way of life, and was severely punished whenever he brought the subject up. When he reached the age of 10, he ran off into the forest after being punished by his parents for yelling and swearing at them for bringing him into such a bad life, and saying he wish he were dead.
Walking through this part of the forest, he wondered why he was forced to live away from the world, why his parents wouldn't tell him the truth of their story and why they stayed in the valley.
Almost immediately after he came out of the small valley that his house was located, he had the feeling he was being watched. The feeling put him on edge for days as he walked, lost in the thick grove mazes of the forest. The feeling almost drove him mad with paranoia.
After five days, starvation finally got the better of him. He collapsed onto the bottom of a hollow tree and lost half his conciousness. He could faintly hear something, or someone approaching. Followed by the swift clash of metal, he regained his senses to find two men with kunai locked against eachover. One had a headband from the Village of Konohagakure while the other had a headband of a village he didn't quite recongnize. He could make out the image of a soundwave. The battle consisted mainly of kunai strikes, and dodging, parrying. Eventually the man with the soundwave headband overpowered the leaf shinobi and went to slice his throat.
Lief had no idea what happened next. He barely remembers any of it. His body acted on impulse. He felt a huge burst of strength within the next few seconds, he found himself with a bloody kunai in his hand and the sound ninja dead before his feet.
The Shinobi from Konohagakure recongnized his potential, and took him back to the village. He was eventually inducted into the Academy and after many months, became a Chuunin.
