Of course Tobi isn't Madara - that fact was confirmed in chapter 559. However, Tobi is likely a clone of Madara and Hashirama. He has existed for many years, as far back as the Second World War - around the time the real Madara died, after awakening the Rinnegan and passing it to a young Nagato.

First off, you can't compare Tobi and Madara's personalities and claim that is evidence against Tobi being Madara. Now keep in mind, that 100% of NB knows that Tobi is not the ORIGINAL madara. People like me, that still believe Tobi is partially Madara, think that Tobi is likely a clone of Madara that is mostly Zetsu. Saying that a Madara-Zetsu clone hybrid will have the same personality as the original is illogical. Especially if that clone lived in a state that he was dominated by the original. Even if Tobi lived separate from Madara most of his life, it is very logical to assume that Tobi's personality was altered drastically due to the life he lived. Basically I'm saying this cannot be considered evidence.

Now I must admit that the fact that Madara does know quite a bit about Edo while Tobi seems to know nothing is a very difficult point to argue, but perhaps Tobi is a clone without 100% of Madara's memories. Its also possible that Tobi was trying to find out more about edo tensei than he already knew, and was pretending to know nothing. That is also possible.

As for my belief that Tobi is still partially Madara, I'll present just one piece of evidence that I think is very hard for people to argue:

See the resemblance? I don't think you can argue that Tobi's basic eye lines are identical to Madara's. Essentially, Tobi's face is an older version of Madara's. Too me, that means that Tobi is made of at least some of Madara's DNA and has lived for a very long time, creating more lines. This is just my opinion, but again, I think its a very hard point to argue.

If you're using Tobi's (intelligent, not coward-like) attack on Konoha as an example of him being a coward, you can also use Madara using Kurama against Hashirama, losing, and then faking his death to stay alive...

Honestly, I don't think either one is a coward, but the OP is just such a Madara fanboy... it's just amazing.
