Madara is fodder to Hashirama

And this last manga proved it.

He knew from the second he was summoned by Edo what the terms of his summon was. He knew that he would be able to cancel it, IF ONLY HIS BODY WOULD ALLOW IT. But obviously Kabuto was controlling him to make sure nothing like that would happen.

Kabuto then tells him that he restored his body past his prime. So Madara decides to test it out.

He then goes on to throw a meteor not only on top of everyone but himself included, knowing that under Edo he would be revived. He then has his moved stopped by Oonoki so mid rant he decides to throw another one on top.

He is clearly playing with the Kage as they begin to give their all out and even though he has all this "unlimited" chakra and this "perfect" body with these "god" eyes, he still says one thing and is 100% clear about it.

The ONLY ONE WHO CAN BEAT HIM NOW IS HASHIRAMA SENJU.

Madara knew he would be able to get out of Edo and he knew that he had acquired a new "perfect" body and yet he still said that.

Any ideas why?

I think Kishi is implying we are going to get a Hashirama cameo, or something close too it. Maybe find out that Naruto is really another grand child or great grand child of the Senjuu clan. ​

If you go by Kabuto's words and some reasoning, then Edo Madara > Hashirama (my personal belief).

I am not a Hashirama fan boy nor do I dislike Madara.

But clearly we all know Madara is #1 right now. He is unstoppable. And yet even though he is the only one who knows the max of his own power he still says "The only one who can stop me now is Hashirama."

Clearly regular old Madara is fodder compared to him. Not this new supreme beast who would STILL lose to him, but the original Madara.

lolseriously in the manga Hashirama's face looked completely swollen and one of his eyes was all poofy and closed...unless I forgot what I read...xd

^This. Also, Hashirama cannot be the only one capable of defeating Madara or the story is pointless. Hashi cannot come back because his soul's been sealed.

The only other option is if Madara willingly gives up, but I can't see that happening for now.

Someone who was in a battle with one black eye and a bit of blood is not even close to what we have seen.

People have had limbs ripped off and they were considered to be fine.

Yet Hashirama who had a few injuries got wrecked?

Nah.

He looked tired at best. Especially since he could easily heal himself.
