But yeah I personally don't think Deidara will have much of a hard time. Shikamaru's a genius but he does have a limit.. especially since Deidara has used countless clone feints on panel. Kiba is rather reckless and might fall very quickly, maybe being saved by Shikamaru's shadow binding once or twice. His dedication to protecting Akamaru might make him use rash decisions that could easily jeopardize Team 2. Deidara has good reflexes despite being the long-range stereotype, so it's going to be rather hard for him to get hit in this battle.. and he definitely has the variety in his jutsu since his jutsu revolves around shaping his creations.

Lol Shika's shadows are useless against an aerial opponent. Kiba is also useless in this fight, he can't hit an opponent on a a bird. Deidara wins with almost no difficulty. They also can't counter Deidara's bombs either.

IF shikamaru manage to catch deidara before he starts flying then kiba and shikamaru would have a chance but I'd go with deidara.

I think kiba could be useless in this fight and if deidara targets kiba's dog then its over and shikamaru is smart but deidara can stay in the air and that would be a major problem deidara wins low diff

Now that I think about it deidara would still cast a shadow on the bird that shikamaru could use......i change what I said earlier deidara med diff
