How many times does Kishi intend to change his mind about something in the series?
I mean seriously?!

1) When Naruto began the 4th Hokage, Minato, was bestowed the title as the strongest Hokage in the Leaf Village history ever. During naruto's wind release rasengan training Kakashi also said that the only person that could surpass the 4th was naruto. That should still mean that the 4th is still a boss that has yet to be surpassed.

2) Later on we have the bout between Orochimaru and Sarutobi. When they were fighting the 3rd was given a God-like rank b/c of his talents, superior ninjutsu and learning every single jutsu in the Leaf Village. Putting him above the 4th hokage.

3) Then there's Itachi stating that you'd have to kill your best friend to get the mangekyou sharingan to Sasuke. He didn't necessarily change his mind about that one, just the friend part.

4) Finally we have Madara ranting on about how great a ninja Hirashima was and his defeat to him. Seeing how powerful Madara is then clearly we all know that the 1st was a league above him so Hirashima pawns Madara so then the 1st also pawns Minato b/c even with a his skills I don't see Minato defeating Madara.(But I may be wrong, not edo Madara of course) Now that puts Hirashima ahead of Minato idk about (Prime)Sarutobi tho. The god-like rank is pretty tough to top.

There we are, four examples. They may not be the most full proof one's but they'll have to do. Although the 3rd ex might be debatable since all it takes to awaken the mangekyou sharingan is powerful emotions. (lol if naruto himself was an uchiha he would have been unlocked the ms long time ago)

But anyway Kishi jumped from the 4th, to the 3rd, then the 1st as the strongest hokage. Who's next? The 2nd?! And the sharingan thing did he just say that to say it or to put out that the ms came with a cost or did he slightly change his mind on that aswell.

True. But I used characters that actually got some spotlight time and that we got a litte but valid information from them. And basicly, doesn't Kishi speak through his characters or am I the only one the feels that way?

Nononono Kishi rarely speaks through his characters it is up to us to keep with the story and realise the truth. Kabuto said edo tensei has no risk and we found out yesterday it does. We have to follow the story and see the truth for ourselves.

I think if you're able to climb to the title of kages you are superb strong no doubt at all. but I think we couldn't really judge fully until we actually see more fight from all the kages honestly.

4) Sharigan was a normal kekkei genkai that knows how to copy other people's jutsu, now it's severely haxed
5) You have to kill you best friend to trigger MS, now you don't need to.
6) Itachi was introduced as a villain, then to a good character but some flaws, now he's a goddess.
7) Real Madara going "I'm serious" every time he's about to lose (this is the 3rd time right?)
8) Kishi made the first half of his manga about Konaha 11, only to push them aside later
9) Kishi made the first half of his manga about naruto trying to reach hokage level, then he made the sasuke gone rogue subplot, then it became the main plot for the second half.
