I think he is down for a fight, which would be a good time to show off his jutsu, it was created apparently as a way to protect his friends. On that note by the sound of it all of Team 8 might get to fight, they are practically the only ones that talk about fighting in the sequence.

Alright, in all seriousness, I've had a lot of laughs, but in seriouness. THEY NEED to improve, SHINO! Shino is badass. I mean come on, kishi is upgrading all of his narutos and sasukes, but what about Shino? Has he even got an upgrade yet? I'm offended by how he's not getting much screen time. If it weren't for plot, Shino himself would be killing in this war, on his own.

All of team 8 haven't got screen time since part 1, I blame Kurenai, why couldn't she keep it in her pants haha
