Discussion: The beginning of the chapter was surprising as Kishi noted two separate times about “Itachi entrusting his feelings to Sasuke” and “their farewell ends with light” was somewhat hopeful but he beginning to speak before being cut off left me pondering the state of his mentality. Me and my friend conversed about Madara breaking out of Edo but to become the summoner was unexpected to say the least. He is immortal with unlimited chakra and the Kages are seemingly at their limits. The note in the end about despair had an eerie atmosphere to it and I did not like it! I just hope my beautiful Mei, Tsunade, Gaara and the epic tsundere Onoki make it out alive.

Predictions: It seems as though Kishi wants to kill off some characters and in my opinion, it may be one or more of the Kages.

May be Kishi will make all Kages die and make someone resurrect them with Edo-Tensei. Then Madara (unlimited) vs 5 Kages (unlimited) That's the perfect Mexican stand-off to this war arc BS

Or Kishi will make all the Kages use that Deathgod Summoning Sealing jutsu.. and Naruto wud become leader of entire Shinobi world

well am afraid not, cus only minato knew that technique,who in turn taught sarutobi the 3rd ,so that makes it only the two of them in naruto verse who can summon it

After reading the last page I think we need a better translation. But after reading it carefully I think that what Madara meant in the last page is that he is free with unlimited chakra, an immortal body which cannot be controlled that's the risk of this jutsu to the user. Just my opinion though U_U.

Seems weird to me as well. How the hell is anyone going to defeat Madara if the ONLY one who could be him was the First Hokage? All 5 Kages together were getting handled easily and now he has unlimited chakra and can't die? Come on man!

i was hoping someone else picked up on this. it sounds like she knows something we don't. the raikage looked suprised too but that could've been from seeing the edo being released.
i suppose we'll find out soon enough

Your wrong kid! That wasn't Orochimaru soul that was sealed that was the person soul who he transfer his life force/mind into...Rewatched or re-Read the manga when Orochimaru and The 3rd Hokage was talking before he used Edo Tensi to bring the 1st and 2nd Hokage back...Orochimaru clearly explained how his Immortality technique worked. Remember the 3rd Hokage thought he found out how to become immortal because Orochimaru seemed like he never aged... Here is a better explanation. Immortality technique. Keeps ones mind in the world forever. In other words, it is a reincarnation technique where after one find a new body, one transfer their mind into the body and take over but the soul is lost, meaning afterlife. So actually Orochimaru been dead but don't take my word on it. Logic!

u get the dude wrong...as sasuke and itachi had their battle, oro nearly took sasukes (weak, nearly no chakra left...u remember?) body, but then was sealed by itachi via totsuka-blade.
(and that has not much to do with how oros immortality-tech works...)
so oro wont come back.

and according to your logic...we have a sasuke without a soul now (would still explain a few of his decisions ;-) )...coz this was the body which oros mind tried to overtake.and if it wasnt oro sealed back then....guess what?it had to be the only other soul in sasukes body at that time...

Naruto or Sasuke or the both of them will defeat Madara with some help from Gaara maybe for the sealing. He's not unbeatable like everyone says but he's the closest thing possible to it.

this is what I understood from the speech. I wish we had better translation.

there is a risk to ET. if you know the seals you can release ET's contract. this is really dangerous (for the user, in other words kabuto in this situation). (because the user, in other words kabuto, will have to face) an undying enemy with unlimited chakra.
tell kabuto that he shouldn't use forbidden techniques carelessly.

The translation isn't good. Read it from ***********.com. The translation is better there. Tsunade actually says that "we are still searching for Kabuto, who could have done this". Then Onokoi says that whoever did this is a hero. Nothing extraordinary just a translation mistake.
