seen some interesting posts. I think the edo tensei's slip which contributes to it being a kinjutsu is that maybe at the point of release if the summoned edo knows the seals he/she can break away somewhere between being frr of the users control and being returned to the pure world. Explains why madara waited till this time and why he started messing up the war front without kabuto putting a seal on him. He played kabuto from the start

After that he asked who the controller of the impure world resuriction was, then Kabuto used Muu, wich was with Madara to say "I am kabuto. His assistent. Since he said he was "his assistent" what he means is Orochimarus assistent.. They must've been in contact with each other before Madara died since he knows Orochimaru.

Well, the Kages are in even deeper shit than before. I'd like to see how this ends because it seems like it'll take a miracle to get rid of Madara.

Very happy to see Tsunade meet Dan again, that was one of the things I wanted to happen in the war arc. He seems pretty beast with his spirit transformation, didn't expect that. He can fly and has speed, is intangible and can possess people usefully unlike Ino's trashy slow possession. Now I kinda miss the guy.

Boring chapter sadly for me!

One question...did Muu disappeared too? Cuz I dont remembered seeing him fly away!

Muu, like Madara, is too boss to disappear. He's going to kill Naruto in the next chapter and end the manga.

You gotta notice that the leafey pattern on edo madara's skin is gone now. He may just be a regular Madara now, not that he's so regular.

I believe that he will tire like a regular shinobi now.

Also, he did not release himself earlier because he didn't want to lose chakra. Maybe he can no longer use mokuton or perfect susanoo recklessly. He will hesitate to attack now that he is vulnerable.

Madara is not immortal and has infinite chakra. Please reread the chapter. If he knew the seals to release the edo then why not do it earlier? Easy the edo makes him immortal and gives him an infinite chakra pool. He didn't want to release it for this reason while fighting high level opponents such as the kages. He clearly states that it is troublesome to give up these abilities to finish his current fight. His statement about not messing with forbidden techniques is basically a statement that Kabuto didn't understand the opponents that he raised with edo. He underestimated Itachi's ability to release from the edo, as well as Madara's ability to release it. Basically Madara goes back to his former self. He will not be able to regenerate any damage he takes and using high level abilities like perfect Susano will drain his chakra quickly.

This sounds like a really valid theory to me, but i am still unsure, Kishi isnt always consistent with his logic

Why is everyone so fixated on Orochimaru, maybe he was refering to himself as Tobi's assistant since Madara and Tobi are linked. Maybe Madara knew the signs to Edo Tensei becasue him and Tobi are linked through the Rinnegan and since Kabuto showed Tobi the signs Madara obtained that information as well.

Lastly, Orochimaru is a chump, hes gone get over it Itachi owned him. If he ever did return for some dumb reason he's a non-factor and would get crushed immediately by Naruto or Sasuke. Hell Guy and Kakashi could take him out.

So many cliffhangers... So now that Madra is is able to well more or less immortal... Is he gonna kill pretty much everyone... all 5 kages were getting owned by him so what is anyone else gonna do... Will he go against Tobi??? and now that Itachi is dead again... Will Sasuke have to kill Kabuto by himself or is Kabuto just gonna run away and start the Edo Tesai all over again???... If i spelled something wrong o well just adding random thoughts to it

Okay first things first...great chapter....a little slow but a nice ending. Although we all saw it coming. There is no way the most badass villain would go away so easy. I mean come on...if you thought that was going to happen, then your fooling yourself. Itching warned us over and over that every Jutsu has a risk. It was just a matter of time before it was exploited.

All that said there is one thing driving me nuts....all these ungrateful freaking critics just waiting for an opportunity to trash "arguably" one of the greatest mangas on earth. Let me see you design a whole entire universe that grabs people imagination and attention, develop a captivating characters, and then build a moving plot for over 10 years while keeping the story relevant. Some people act like Kishi had everything figured out in the manga from day one.

It is called plot and character development. The story grows over time. So people are asking why didn't Tobirama Senju break Oro's contract when he was summoned....simple when Kishi wrote that part of the story it was at least 9 years ago. He probably did not know the Edo Tensi was going to be that critical to the ending of story line. I mean it was almost a decade ago

So for all those nut crazy perfect world manga critics shut up and enjoy one of the greatest mangas ever!!!

the 2nd Hokage never freed himself because after the kunai was added to his body his soul was killed. And before that he was JUST being summoned, So there was not enough time before his mind was activated for him to figure out what was going on to react.

Plus im sure the seals are not universal. IF you remember Kabuto has a scroll with their new body and contact in them. So im sure you can bind whatever signs to the tech as you see fit. ( kind of like a code )

BTW Tobirama is Tobi and Rama, Rama being close to Ramen. So Tobi is the Ramen shop guy.

It was to my knowing that every edo tensei that was summoned, a kunai talisman was placed inside them to do the user's bidding including Edo Uchiha Madara

That wasn't Orochimaru soul that was sealed that was the person soul who he transfer his life force/mind into...Rewatched or re-Read the manga when Orochimaru and The 3rd Hokage was talking before he used Edo Tensi to bring the 1st and 2nd Hokage back...Orochimaru clearly explained how his Immortality technique worked. Remember the 3rd Hokage thought he found out how to become immortal because Orochimaru seemed like he never aged... Here is a better explanation. Immortality technique. Keeps ones mind in the world forever. In other words, it is a reincarnation technique where after one find a new body, one transfer their mind into the body and take over but the soul is lost, meaning afterlife. So actually Orochimaru been dead but don't take my word on it. Logic!
