Dan and Edo Madara

Well perhaps there will be endless threads but regardless I feel like I should throw on my 2 cents.
Since there is some confusion based on this manga I will make some things clear.

1. Edo Madara cut off his connections with the Pure/Impure world (spiritual world) which is done by releasing the contract itself.So he cannot be released by Edo Tensei but will remain on this earth forever as an Edo (Undead).

2. In the same scan it is now clear Edo Tensei gives unlimited Chakra and this debate should forever be put at rest.

3. Tsunade can use her Mitonic state again after meeting Dan and has 100% Fully Restored Chakra.(Diamond gone, Diamond back.)

This is where my own question comes in. How on earth could Dan possibly have died when he has an OP jutsu like this:

Ok decided to put a little more effort in.
He was probably in a battle and while his soul was out killing people someone killed his body when he wasnt in it. I have a feeling it works like the yamanaka's tech.

And yes I just thought about it, he was in a war and a jutsu like this seems only OP if covered by comrades (like mind transfer jutsu).

Regardless, it still seemed like as a living soul he could protect his body since he has the ability to kil.

I would say that since his spirit leaves his body it is a very dangerous jutsu to use since your body is basically defenseless until you return. So if he performed this jutsu and no one was around to watch his body someone could have easily killed him.

Indeed,although if he was older/matured I could definitley see Dan as Hokage.

Why does everyone like to say illness.. that's just an excuse.

Anyway when I saw his death I thought he was a fodder tsuande was trying to save him and everything. But maybe he didn't have time to use this tech maybe it was an ambush there is so many ways he could of died.
