[Theory] Is Tobirama the connection that ties Madara and Tobi

Madara knows the seals for Edo Tensei and Tobi utilitzes Space-Time Ninjutsu. We still don't have clear knowledge to how either of them can do these things but I'd say that Tobirama plays a factor in this. When people used to say this before, I'd laugh when they'd say something like "Tobi's name is derived from Tobirama" but now it's starting to seem more plausible since Madara somehow knows Edo Tensei's seals.

We'll probably find out how he knows this technique next week but for now, what are your thoughts on this crazy happening and do you think Tobirama plays a factor in the Madara/Tobi connection?

I have been having the same boat the only person who could do edo tensei in madara's time was tobirama and madara would have to learn those seals from someone. Was tobirama's death something to do with this he said the 20 people were probably elite cloud ninjas but to be truthful we have no idea who they were.

I have the same conclusion, since tobi's name could possibly derived from the name of tobirama, and not just the seals for the edo tensei, but the secret behind it, that you could release the contract of you being summoned by edo tensei. with this chapter it increases my conclusion that tobi is tobirama !

wtf ...is every1 seeming to forget that we have another Edo-tensei user --> OROCHIMARU ... his relation with madara even seems more plausible than the tobirama-theory. Therefor Orochimaru could have taught Madara himself the seals!

Your theory is plausible but doesn't tie Tobi in very well and Tobi is a major portion of Madara's plan considering he transplanted the Rinnegan into Nagato (not Orochimaru as you've stated). And it's pretty safe to say that Orochimaru didn't know the full extent of Edo Tensei until he actually defected from the village which would be quite some time after Madara died.

Madara and orochimaru have no ties with each other I was going to make a theory and say madara is the reason why orochimaru obtained hashi's dna but I realised that can't be true. But unfortunately I forgot the reason why that can't be true but I know there is one.

i have read your theory it was kinda sick ! HAHAHA ! xd seeing oro was just a child during the era of hiruzen, we could clearly see that oro was about 10 or 12 ? while hiruzen was about an adult ! and would you think madara was still alive in that time ? and if madara was still alive in that time, would you think oro a child with an age of 10/12 would have an agreement with a villain, perhaps oro was born to be evil, but with that age, im doubt it, madara is not a so stupid to have an agreement with a genius 10/12 yo boy ! btw, previous its just a typo, "with this chapter it increases my conclusion that tobi is tobirama !" i mean that tobi is beaing related to tobirama, perhaps a son of a bitch ! but still we have our own opinions, and i dont agree with your theory !

it is possible that tobi and tobirama are related but tobi does not know anything about the edo tensei jutsu..unless he acted really well during kabuto's demo to see how much kabuto knows.
but i have been pondering over the similarity of their names for a while.. i hope kishi throws some light theres too many loose ends!

If Kagami Uchia is Tobi then this would be great for kishi to dwelve into tobirama past as well as explain Kagmi uchia(if we where to find out that kagami uchia is tobi).

Tobirama has space time ninjutsu Kagami Uchia has the sharingan now being apart of the 2nd hokages squad im sure he would of seen him use his space time ninjutsu in battle at some point and copied it, ( We haven't actually seen tobirama's version of space time techniques so tobi's and the Tobirama could possibly be exactly the same type of technique.
Also hence Tobi's Alias Taken from His squad "Tobirama"

His age would also fit the time line requirements.
and he was missing during the 9 tails attack and was presumed to be killed during the uchia clan massacre so there are a lot of possibilities in this theory that i have
