I'd like proof of that, if you wouldn't mind sharing it. I found that weed actually terrified me of other substances (I don't use the word "drug" due to its negative connotations).

Alcohol I've always used, so that doesn't count.

I generally only smoke now once every month or so when me and some friends get together, but since I did weed, other drugs didnt seems so intimidating anymore...like now I do alot of ecstasy and occationally cocaine or speed.

So its best not to get into it but its really up to the individual themselves

weed doesn't lead to other drugs weed only leads to the fridge

Read my whole last post, my proof is from my (and everyone who I have known at Uni) own experience.

I would have seen it 50+ times, people I know did it once in the past, now do pretty much whatever drugs they can get their hands on.

If you read my other post properly, you would know that I dont oppose weed or any other drugs really, I just know that weed gets you into the other shit

Your experience is too subjective to be proof. Based off of just your own experiences you can't make such a general statement unless that statement is applied to yourself.

All I gotta say is if you drink alcohol, and you have a problem with herb, because you think it's bad, or it made you throw up for some reason, then you have a problem yourself. my buddy hates smoking because it made him puke once. guess he hasn't learned a lesson with alcohol from all the times hes puked.. But he still does it. Because he threw up once from weed, he never wants to do it again. Interesting.. Anyways I don't have a problem with alcohol, I drink on occasion, and it's just tradition in society. aside from alcohol everyone does drugs. tylenol, Motrin, NyQuil, blah blah. the difference between marijuana and most drugs is that you can't overdose. hmm let's see what else. My buddy just got his bachelors degree and smoked everyday before class and after. He finished with all A's but one B. I'm not saying weed is for everyone, just dont judge it if you have no clue what you're talking about.. people say it illegal and it's illegal for a reason.. people will do it anyways, just like texting and driving except texting and driving is worse to a certain degree.

As a general rule I don't often like people who smoke. Not because they smoke, but because of their personalities.

Reading the posts of the pro-weed posters, alot of them seem to be acting like dickheads, like if you don't think marijuana should be legalized then you are an awful person, even though they are the ones doing drugs.

I've yet to meet a pot-head who could actually sit down and listen to arguments about why weed should not be legalized, or how it is bad for you.

I think Daniel Tosh said it best, "I want weed to be legalized, just so pot-heads would have nothing to talk about"

I will give you that honor It does have cons and pros like most things that become disputed in a social standpoint. Personally, I smoke it because I like being high and have been doing long enough to function properly under the effect. While it does have reprecautions on health, its also beneficial to some degree. I honestly lost track of some things cus I stopped caring but I heard that some states where it was legal as medical, stopped selling it and it became illegal again. Political BS. Wether it´s good or bad??? IDK. We all gonna die anyways so I live by this motto. As long as one´s lifestyle brings others no harm, there´s nothing wrong with it. We can go deep into the arguement if you want though. I doubt you will, its a boring conversation.

Check this out, I gotta' go with my man ShishaMastah on this one. I'm the most unbiased person you'll ever have the pleasure of conversing with, okay. Your "proof" is not substantial. A few people who made a decision, even based on experience, does not equal proof.

Proof comes from tried and true. If you were able to get 70-80% of the people who ever smoked weed to say that it led to other drugs (honestly), then you'd have proof. However, this will be hard to come by, since most people who smoke weed usually don't even think about doing something else.

My proof? I've known lots of pot smokers, old, young, and everything in between. They all say that weed is all they need (or want at least ).

[edit: I live in Kentucky, "pot central", California's weed comes from here, okay; every lawyer, banker, politician, doctor, you name it, smokes weed. Capiche?]

My friend Jarred has the same exact problem. Every time he smokes he gets extreme paranoia and very insecure so he doesn't smoke anymore. I guess everyone experiences it differently because the few times I've smoked have been awesome. I'm either relaxed or really happy and giggly.

For the people who bash on others for smoking marijuana... grow up. If you want to stay "above the influence" that's awesome and great for you but don't tell others what they should and shouldn't be doing. Their choice not yours.

Im not saying people cant only do weed and nothing else, but it definitely increases the likelihood of you getting into harder stuff.

my first time was straight but it makes me sick as hell xd Im either smokeing to much or just not that big of a smoker xd. But smokeing is what you make it, It cool for party's just like that one time thing which is what i do, i'll smoke it around at party's but wont just do it everyday because i'll just throw up. But the most smokeing i'v every did was with my homebody matt with his Hoka thing, but when we smoke that were both relaxed and just talk about dumb shit but were relaxed so we dont give a sht. But weed is goood and bad to me. It's good because it puts you in a calmness and makes everything seem better, and slow time down. And people saying it's bad just dont do it alot lol that all and you will be straight just do it a little at a bit and for people who throw up like me smoke less xd


But all and all it's good and straight if you smoke your limit so dont trya nd smoke like the big boys when your just beging lol cause that will fck your ass up no joke

Notice the Marker 001? That is for me to know that I checked the thread up until that point on. Therefore if there is something I need to do in this thread again, I know where to start from. As some threads get larger and larger, it's easier for me to do it this way, instead of trying to go through 40+ pages worth of posts, which takes a lot of time. If I do it here and there, more manageable for me. You all can wait a little bit as I go through them.​

I agree with this I too have gone on to much much hard things Im one moth sober Besides weed so im kinda conflicted It did bring me into hard things but it also helped me get out I mean really as long as your a very strong willed person you can just smoke but yet you never know how strong your will is until you put it to the test its a very dangerous bridge to cross

If people smoke it and can give it up no problem, i don't see an issue with that. but most people who smoke it and are posting here seem to do so everyday, sorry but it seems to me that you're dependent on it just like other people are addicted to cigs, drugs, alcohol. it's just another form of escape.
