Dafaq happened to Hidan?

Uh... What happened to Hidan? Yes, I know he's underground with just his head.. However, do you remember him being immortal? I'm gonna laugh if when Naruto is fighting Sasuke, and they're both weakened, completely dry of chakra and both on the break of death then; "HIDAN REVENGE" comes out of no where and chucks his scythe and kills them both. Lmao, but seriously wtf, Kishi you can't make your immortal character leave because he trapped underground.. Does anyone else agree, or wonder the same as I do? This is not a theory, just a "WTF" thought.

Maybe since he cant be killed it was the only way to get rid of him. Remember Hidan did ask Kakuzu to bring him his head after Asuma chopped it off. Wonder if that means he couldnt get it himself ?

I agree, I don't see why Kabuto didn't go dig him up before the war. He could have just asked edo Kakuzu where he was, he would have been a way bigger asset than some of the random people he summoned like Shin, Gari, and Pakura.

thats the only way to get rid of characters dubbed immortal, hide them away. Another thing you will notice about the few immortal characters of japanese manga is that they are generally weak. Hidan for instance, only had surprise and lack of intel on asumas part working for him. Any mid teir ninja who knew hidans powers of instakilling with your blood, would fairly easily dodge making hidan useless. Think about it, if you never allowed hidan to cut you, what then could he hope to do to you? As far as a know his scythe wouldnt be able to penetrate susoono or maybe the bijuu cloak, so he has no chance against sasuke or naruto...and given the technicality that he cant die, its either throw his body parts into a pit, or seal him.
