Orochimaru already knew Tobi's identity. But I disagree with this theory, his identity has nothing to do with the war on sasuke's half, as Tobi already revealed his face to sasuke, sasuke could careless who he is. It obviously is a OP jutsu or weapon that Orochimaru attempted to use/gain/build/develop but didn't go thru with it as he was sick the entire series and needed a new body.

just cuz he saw his face doesnt mean he cud confirm exactly who it was.
and it cud help sasuke. if sasuke knew who tobi was he cud use it as leverage to get something. what tht is idk but thts how it cud help

Tobi identity means shit to Sasuke, he didn't care who was than or who he is now. But if that's your thought that's fine.

no ur right, it means shit to sasuke who tobi is. but it means something to other people and sasuke knows it. Sasuke has to gain power its his drive (so he can destroy konoha) he knows tobi has power. so how wud he get tobi to just give him power? U blackmail him

bro , apparently the room was old. now, what did orochimaru try to get his hands on , a uchiha, so he did lots of studies probably knew what the sharigan could unlock. so it's a sercet to the sharingan for a power up

yeah!! i totally go with this, it might actually give sasuke a power up cos with the way he is, he's no match for naruto

In the recent chapter, Suigetsu said that the scrolls info will be able to take over the world. Im thinking it is a hand-seal sequence which will activate a certain jutsu to defeat everybody.

Ok idk if this theory has been stated before but o well!!
My theory on whats in tht scroll is Tobi's identity.
At first i thot it was probably info on how to obtain rinengan. But after thinking a little it wud make more sense that it contains tobi's identity.
i say this bcuz of suigetsu's line "this cud change this war entirely" or smthin like tht (cnt find the link).
If it was info on rinnengan i dnt see how it wud completely change the war. For all suigetsu knows sasuke is hiding out in some hole and isnt even apart of the war, As appose to if it was tobi's identity. Because suigetsu doesnt know tht madara has been revived so he thinks everyone still believes tobi=madara. And if it got out tht it wasnt it cud change the war entirely (just bcuz his identity wud be revealed which wud probably give people a better idea of how to beat him cuz of past battles he'd been in).

So, no it couldn't be Tobi's idenity, because how could that change a war? It doesn't affect Tobi in any way, just that people know who he is. Plus he's about to summon a incomplete 10 tails, so.. His idenity won't change shit.
