it is not clear to me that GAARA is a duton user because sand is a form of earth. is sand really is a from of duton?

WHILE other shinobi knows mokuton (wood), shoton (crystal), yoton(lava), Hyoton(ice), Enton (blaze), Renton(storm), Futton(boil), jinton (dust)


How about konan?
Is she KONAN a KEKKEI GENKAI shinobi?

because she produces papers: it is not a basic element
paper made from wood (earth + water! mukoton ninjutsu?

if not, did she brought papers always? then how many pads of paper did she brought in order to perform her jutsu?

They use Chakra with a medium (sand, paper etc.) to make techniques.

A good examble is also Itachis Crow Jutsus (crows) and 6 tails jinchurikis Bubble Ninjutsu (bubbles)

The only question here is that Konan has never been shown producing papers but she can convert herself into papers (may be some kind of clone jutsu).

Some of them are hidden techniques (not Kekegenkais), like the shadow ones that the Nara clan uses (just an example) which doesn't require any element. According to Yamato, the manipulation of Yin and Yang is the source of non-elemental techniques such as the Shadow Imitation Technique, Multi-Size Technique, medical ninjutsu, genjutsu, etc.
So i think Gaara, Konan also fall into this category...
