Theres alot of people that say that Sasori was trolled twice. First was when he died fighting Chiyo and Sakura and the second was when he was revived and beaten by Kankuro and other ninja in the war. Lets start with his death. The only reason he was beaten by an old lady (with considerable skills) and s]Sakura was because Chiyo basically knew alot about Sasori and his puppets (not all of them but a decent amount of them) and knew how to fight against him efficiently because she too was a fellow puppetmaster. So he was not trolled in this fight. Lastly il explain how he wasnt trolled in the world war arc. When he was revived, he didnt have any of his strongest puppets to fight with. The third kazekage was destroyed, hiruko was destroyed, and his 100 puppet army was destroyed. Without his puppets, how effective could a PUPPETMASTER really be in battle against a puppetmaster WITH puppets, and a few other ninja with decent power? He was at a huge disadvantage and this is why he was defeated. In conclussion, Sasori was not trolled in either the Kazekage rescue arc, or the World War arc.
