Genjutsu Confusion

I've been confused sort of lately with the Raikage. Itachi, Sasuke, and Madara are proficient in genjutsu. But there is one thing i don't get here. How did Madara affect the Raikage with his weak genjutsu? I call it weak because Tsukuyomi is stronger than a normal genjutsu casted by a user. If Madara can affect the Raikage with genjutsu does that mean the Uchiha brothers can? I thought genjutsu was useless against the Raikage? Correct me if i'm wrong.

Why did Raikage got easily trapped by Madara?

Was it because he didn't have Raiton Armor activated?
Was it because of fear?
Was it because he was just hyping himself and thought he can break genjutsu?

i think because he was caught off guard wasnt expecting him to use it. they he was talking he aviods it

I think he was disappointed because he was caught + he thought he would be able to break it. It seems the raiton armor doesnt make the user immune to genjutsu, as he had it activated when he was put in the genjutsu.

i believe its because madara held him still n was able to catch him in a genjutsu. i may be wrong! but i believe he cant be caught in a genjutsu cuz he is alway moving in his v2 armor

He had raiton armor on he was just exausted and caught off guard the best time for genjutsu :noc: plus A is really fast so catching him in genjutsu and then killing him when he is unable to evade is the best way to defeat a shinobi with high speed.

um no one is really immune to genjutsu some can fightit better than others but other than that i think it was because madaras normal genjutsu is stronger than itachis tsukynomi

.......Dafuq thats a huge stretch madaras genjutsu is probably strong but not that strong. Itachis Tsukuyomi can only be broken by uchiha members where onooki easily helped raikage break from madaras genjutsu.

Well i guess if you managed to ground Raikage and cast genjutsu it affects him.

I think its hard to catch him because the sharingan cant keep up with him let alone cast genjutsu on him. But if you manage to catch him and keep him still the raiton armor doesnt do anything :shrug:

Well i mean enabling him any movement.

He was probably tired and beaten down plus Madara's powers were significantly higher than all five Kage put together. He had the Rinnegan and I think that may have played into it as well.

Well I have heard that intelligent people know how to break genjutsus (Shikamaru against Tayuya and Sakura against Kabuto). Apparently the knuckle heads like Naruto and the Raikage are bad at breaking genjutsus.

Probably because he was hit by a direct Sharigan Genjutsu from Madara Uchiha's Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan...

He had EMS(stronger than MS), so it won't surprise me if his genjutsu is stronger than Itachis. He can even control Kyubi with it after all
