Edo Madara Theories

Don't know if this was already said, but I'm gonna say it. Too many Edo Madara threads to sift through.

People keep saying, "Madara is gonna return after the ET is released!" and for a while I was a believer of the Izanagi theory. Then I thought to myself...

He was dead for a while, right? Why would he even want to stick around after the jutsu is released?

All he does is badmouth the ninja and sure, maybe he'll stick around to shit on them some more, but really? What point is there in him using a jutsu just to stay around (and if the Izanagi at the cost of an eye)? If he was that important to plot or Tobi or anyone he'd of been brought back already. Sure, he could stay around and give us some more information about Tobi or the Nine-tails or the Rinnegan, but I just don't see it.

Look at Zabuza and several others. Look at Itachi. He was back and there was Sasuke, all rage and hatred, and instead of going all big brother he's just like, "I'm releasing this shit then I am outta here. The afterlife was pretty peaceful. Maybe I'll see you soon my foolish little brother..."

Thoughts?

Why would he? The dude sits in the afterlife for all these years just to be brought back and forced to fight. Now, the jutsu is being released so he takes his chance to stay alive (if you can even call it that)? For what? And I understand he might know some technique to keep himself alive, but Itachi broke free through a genjutsu and the ET was still in play, shouldn't his body be destroyed with the loss of the ET (Madara's body)?

Idk, i read a prediction that said he will use rinne tensei but be brought back to his real body :shrug:

The plan failed when Nagato died...after years of waiting and a time-skip thrown in for the hell of it. I'm trying to look at this from Madara's POV. He's dead, revived and then controlled. So he sticks around after the jutsu is released, why...?
