<LMAO> On-topic: Itachi is good and no on is underestimating him, but we know where his limits are or where he stands agaist strong foes such as Jiraiya, Minato, and Nagato. The best thing I'm going to say is that he could stalemate them, at best. Overestimation is something like he could defeat all them (or maybe at the same time). Its possible, but at the the same time, its not logical.

He can't beat Nagato. He'd beat Jiraiya and is more likely to beat Minato than lose to him (with what we know right now). That one's still up in the air.

For me it depends if he is fight "pein" (with the six seperate paths) or "Nagato"(by himself with all of the path powers inside of him at once)
If he were just fighting Nagato, it would be an awesome fight, because of itachi's sealing jutsu and because of nagato's nin-jutsu suction ability!!!!

I agree, most likely he might win against minato, because off his wide rang of technique

eye contact doesn't require a touch, eye contact is all thats required for itachi to win and more imporatnly minato looked into tobis eye inspite of thinking he was the great madara uchiha.

eye contact is something minato will give him and thats why minato fans have never been able to come up with a good enough argument for him to counter itachis genjutsu.

if Kishi hasn't indicated that itachi is more powerful than what we think(Assuming you know what we think) then there is no factual information we can reference to, to support your statement(which is what you should've done)

Even if most of us hate ftg we got to respect its power. Minato was not only able to sense with his markings, but he also got a picture how the surroundings look like as he was able to tell there where 20 look alike units in the same area with only one marking. Able to choose where he teleports at the back or the front so Itachi is going to have a hard time as minato is able to sense where he is looking with his markings and simply stay out of sight and counter.

Teleport behind sussano mirror is also easy for minato so it is rather safe to assume that Minato has the right tools to beat Itachi while he was alive.

Edo Itachi is another story as he can spam his abilities and cover all his weak spots with black flames indefinitely.

Normal jiraiya has no chance but in sage mode he would put up a good fight.

So... What itachi are we talking about, alive or edo?

Ok yea, i see these threads so much. Itachi is strong yea, but people on NB overrate him so much... I love Itachi alot, in fact hes one of my favorite characters, but hes not stronger than Nagato... He could most likely beat Minato and Jiraiya, but not Nagato.. Just because he has the Totsuka blade doesn't mean hes a god..
