Yondaime's/itachi's Sacrifice for the leaf???

We all know that Yondaime sacrificed his life nd family to protect the leaf from kyuubi nd to prevent war from arising,, where as itachi sacrificed his Parents,Clan,Honour nd Dignity to protect the leaf from political takeover nd possibly war...
Jst a while ago me nd my buddy were going at it, he says itachi's sacrifice was more than yondaime's i say the opposite. So i wanna here from u guys point of view..

They both made sacrifices but i think that Itachi made a more painful sacrifice he killed his parents and his clan for the leaf and his brother and everybody hate him , Minato died as a hero but Itachi died also like a hero but everybody will remember him as murderer

you need to also include that minato sacrificed himself for the protection of the future, by which i mean giving naruto the 9tails so that he could stop tobi and save the world.

Itachi meant to the same for Sasuke however his plan failed while as Minato's didn't. I would say they both sacrificed the same.

They were both protecting a cause so why does a sacrifice matters of "who achieve better outcome for the future." Obiviously, its no debate, however, why not.....

I'll stick to the topic and go with Minato. Naruto was a trusted weapon to bring peace to an unknown threat that Minato predicted. Even if the Uchiha were to start War, than Tobi would have still used that opportunity to start his Moon Eye Plan.
