Yes iBelieve it can ,
Wrong. That's just the way it deflects elemental Ninjutsu. According to the databook every technique becomes futile in front of Yata no Kagami. Physical or spiritual, Ninjutsu or Taijutsu. That's further proved by repelling Sasuke's Kusanagi, which is no Ninjutsu. After all, it has no real shape. The shield is pure spiritual energy.Yata mirror deflects ninjutsu, because it changes its chakra nature to match the attack. Shinra tensei is a gravitational force so yata mirror is useless vs it.

As for deflecting Shinra Tensei, that depends. The normal one, or even a slightly stronger version, is blocked without much effort. Maybe even thrown back, like Kyuubi did. If it's a giant version, like the one against Konoha, it's obvious that Susanoo won't remain at its place, since even the floor under it gets fractured. Yet it'd still protect the user.
As for in-betweens in terms of strength, I think Susanoo can provide quite some resistance if it uses Yata no Kagami's defense capabilities and the same time clings to the floor - that way Sasuke was able to resist Baku's strong suction-power, and after all Susanoo has four arms.
Why not? It said to be able to repel anything. This counts for any attack which hits Yatas mirror directly.

What this guy said. Yata mirror deflects ANYTHING
I't's kind of funny that you where the one telling me not to take the databook literally but you're using it here. Seems like you pick and choose what you want from the databook to support your bias.![]()
Two different things. Preta-Path can absorb any Ninjutsu but yet not any Ninjutsu is Chakra or moved by it, therefore there are exceptions; for Yatas mirror there are given no exceptions and if we will take the databook literally, it could render anything useless it touches.
I've never supported petra path being able to absorb things like Gaara's sand, puppets or wood manipulated by Hashirama. But I do support it being able to absorb wood created by Hashirama.
And I ain't supporting that he can absorb Hashiramas trees since neither they are materialized Chakra as many claim, nor moved by using any Chakra inside them. All the woods Chakra you can find in their source of life; their roots being in the ground. This is rather supported by the databook.
But Yatas mirror on the other side is really said to be able to repel anything. This counts for any directly hit. And though the databook says that any technique would lose its effect in front of it, I'm aware it would not help you for any technique.
Shinra is not a hit. It's manipulating the laws of physics.
In form of a direct shock wave.
