this exactly... the miami heat failing is the biggest storyline the NBA had/have so the whole NBA setting up the miami heat up to win conspiracy is complete garbage.

btw calls were missed on both sides... stop making excuses

It's not set up to the point where the NBA picks who wins, but you cannot deny star favoritism. When lebron drives he extends his forarm into the defender when he needs to make space, and he NEVER gets called for it. Him and wade constantly take 3 steps when they drive too, the refs overlook it.

Yeah, there were calls that went against the heat too, but if you honestly believe that it was evened out the hole series then you are blind, some of the calls/non calls were the most controversial calls in years, the refs took a potential game tying free throws away from the thunder in game 2, and allowed lebron to win it with his free throws in game 3(or 4? When harden was called for the foul).

No credit taken away from james, I'll give it where it's due, he played an unbelievable series, but saying that some of the refs calls weren't a little fishy is just looking away from facts.

Another thing to keep you thinking.

The NBA needs to revert back to the way it was before '96, when the refs weren't allowed to have any interaction with the players, there have been refs called into question for giving the coaches cookies, and one ref asked MJ if he could have his shoes after the game(saw it on a video a friend linked me, forget what it was called). Lebron won his ring, he played great, he deserved it, no credit taken away, but as a fan I want to see good, fair, and even basketball, not any of this shit.

the reason why lebron gets calls is because he is constantly in attack mode. nba officials know what traveling is and the reason that they(lebron and wade) don't get called traveled on is because they don't do it often just like every other basketball player, it might happen occasionally but not as much as you are making it out to be.

no sir you are the one who is blind, you are making excuses for the thunder which is sad. you talk about the late miss call on durant in game 2 which is true but you seem to forget that blocking foul a little earlier in that quarter which should of been a charge which ultimately would of sent durant to the bench because he would of been fouled out. stop nitpicking calls i could do the same thing but i won't because it would be a waste of my time and unnecessary, calls were missed on both sides.

i never said there weren't missed calls, there were but the refs weren't the reason why OKC lost any of those games or the reason why the heat won the games that they did. true fans know this, butt hurt haters won't.

nah man, that is funny that you are posting that video... i seen haters post that shit on twitter trying to bring up some garbage conspiracy. smh

the finals were fair, the better team won, the refs missed calls on both sides but they are human.

i agree 110%. u can never expect the ref to be 100% accurate but in a 7 game series the outcome was unanimous, the better team won.
i can understand the hate lebron saga/drama whatever u call it but pls people, give the man what is due to him. lebron earned this title. they deserve it.

Yes, he is constantly in attack mode, I wasn't referring a lot to him, in fact lebron doesn't get half the calls that he should, because it's to hard to see them as he is so strong that he isn't stopped by hits and continues strong without faltering, so unless the refs actually see the contact they can't make the call. I was referring to the fouls more on wade and the rest of the heat, for instance, durants 4th foul in game 3, he barely touched wade and got called for a foul, WAY less contact then the non call on lebron at the end of game 2, but wade is on the line for an and one.

Watch more of his games then,

(Some of these aren't travels)

So many more I can post, just not gonna bother. A lot of players get away with traveling, the refs gives star treatment, lebron gets that star treatment.

I'm not picking and choosing, that was a blocking foul, watch closely, durant leaves the ground FIRST and then battier slides his foot into position, you have to establish your position BEFORE the player leaves the ground, otherwise it's a blocking foul, besides the fact that as durant hits him he is still moving. No, durant shouldn't have fouled out, that was one of the few GOOD calls in the whole series, "On a drive to the basket, the defender must get to his position before the shooter starts his upward shooting motion."

The only non-call that really stood out to me was the no travel on sefolosha, don't remember when but he practically walked across the court, and harden ran into chalmers in game 5, but neither had serious impact on the game.

Of course they weren't, I'm agreeing with you, as a whole I thought the thunder played a pretty shitty series, all I'm saying is that it definitely had a serious impact, the fact that westbrooke was only at the line 3 times is ridiculous, he drove(and scored) 11 out of his 20 FGs made, not sure how many he missed but I'm sure it's a big number, if he's at the line 4 more times for 8 shots, it could be a different ending.

I'm not making a conspiracy theory, all I'm saying is it seems a little weird. The heat played a better series, no doubt, any way you look at it they did. In game five the dream team probably couldn't beat them, they hit 14 freaking 3's, but the refs made a huge impact on the series, sealing 2 games, putting the heat on the line when they shouldn't have been, and not putting the thunder on the line when they should've been.

Yes, the better team one(well, the team that played better anyway), even with the calls made right, I think the heat would've won anyway, lebron had this hunger in him, and he came through in the clutch, if he did that there was no way OKC was going to win, and he did. If you're denying the fact that something was wrong the whole series, then you are blind. The refs are human, and they are also trained to be the best at their profession, with 3 refs covering the court, they should have no problem getting the calls right, or at least somewhat right, this was pathetic.

Sigh.

I will try to make this simple, I said to you to stop nitpicking missed/no calls but you continue to do it anyway. I will repeat myself again there were missed calls on both sides which if I wanted to list them I could but that is unnecessary and time consuming. Stop finding excuses for the thunder.

So now you are searching on youtube of questionable LeBron travels, why? Yes some of those were travels but if you read my post correctly I said they all basketball players travel occasionally… most of them are called and some of them are not. I could do the same thing posting videos of other iffy travel videos of other players but that will only prove that the refs SOMETIMES miss some calls which is my point. You make it out as if the shit happens a lot but you fail to realize that it doesn’t happen OFTEN man, NBA refs are the best in the world at noticing travels, double dribbles etc… which they catch most of the time(again they are human, they make mistakes).

How are you not picking and choosing man? You did nothing but complain about the missed/iffy calls on the thunder’s behalf. I will admit that the Durant/Battier call was probably the most difficult ones to call but that was a charge, you DO NOT have to be completely set to draw a charge: in Durant’s case on a drive to the basket the defender just needs to get into position before the dribbler makes their upward shooting motion. Yes battier did move his left foot during Durant’s motion but his body was already in front of Durant before he made his shooting upward motion. But that is beside the point, again you are nitpicking but since you are so hung up on doing it I will do it just this once. I don’t remember which game(probably game 3 or 4) there was a loose ball that they said it went off the fingertips of bosh when replayed shown that it was actually off of ibaka, or when Lebron made that sick jump stop in game 3 he was grazed by collision, or in game 5 when wade was the first person to dive on the floor for the loose ball they called a foul saying he tripped up the player which was false, or like you said the sefolosha travel which wasn’t called. Do you see that nitpicking is annoying and unnecessary, like I said before there were some wrong and missed calls on BOTH sides but it didn't happen alot.

No the officiating did not have a serious impact on the games, the refs don’t make/ miss free throws, shoot lights out from the 3pt line, constantly attack the basket, play defense, etc… the players do. Their job is to do the best that they can to officiate the game with the fewest mistakes by them as possible which they do/did.

Again no, the heat was more of the aggressive team which is why they got on the foul line more. Nothing is weird about some missed/wrong calls when most of them were correct which is the norm in the NBA.

So do you expect them to get EVERY call right? I’m sorry but that’s not gonna happen they’re not robots that could replay every play in their minds in a second then make a call if there is a foul/miscall instantly. You forget that refs officiate in REAL time(they don’t have the benefit of watching replays on every other play like us fans do) and get most of the calls right which speaks volumes of their skill at doing their job. Accept the fact that the Thunder lost fair and square, the winner came down to who was better and not the refs.

I'm not nitpicking at calls, I'm pointing out that there were tons of calls that the refs screwed up for OKC, where as there weren't that many for the heat. The out of bounds play you referred to, they reversed that and gave the ball to the heat. The battier play, you just proved my point, you have to get into position before the dribbler makes his upward motion to the basket, when durant is going up battier is still moving, he doesn't have position, so it's a blocking foul. That game 5 call, yeah, it was bad, that was another one, great, so they had 3 bad calls for the heat, which didn't really have any serious impact on the heat, while they called fouls on the thunder for every little thing they did, you don't want me to "nitpick" fine, I'll just say as a whole, the heat were able to play rough defense while the thunder were called for the smallest contact, the bad calls against the heat were during the game, and didn't really affect the outcome, the bad calls on the thunder were at the end of the game, and sealed 2 games(the most notable ones anyway). The refs called a terrible series, but saying that the bad calls weren't totally one sided is a blind fanboy, a "true fan", as you put it, would actually be upset with the terrible calls by the refs, and obvious star favoritism.

The refs don't take the shots from the free throw line, but they decide who goes there, when westebrook drove to the basket over 20 times in the game, and got to the line twice, he played way more aggressive than lebron and wade, and they made it to the line 17 times while westebrook only made it 3, he probably drove more than the 2 of them combined in that game.

Watch that video, it clearly points out what is wrong with the current refs in the NBA.

Dude, I have said the entire time, the heat beat OKC, even with the good calls, they still would've won, all I want to see, as a "true fan" is good even basketball, without star treatment. Like you said, the refs USUALLY get the calls right, you don't ever see this many bad calls because they are so good at what they do, yet for some reason, in the NBA finals they ****ed up, I think it's not a coincidence. I'm not saying the NBA is fixed, I'm not saying the heat payed off the refs, I'm not a conspiracy theorist, I am saying star treatment in the NBA has gotten out of hand, as a "true fan" I want it out, this isn't enjoyable basketball.

Sounds like you are from your opening sentence, anyways I thought I explained In my last post that the defender doesn’t have to be completely set(stand still) to draw a charge which was the case in the Durant/Battier play which should have been a charge. LOL do you honestly think that was the only calls that were missed/wrongly called on the Heat? Those were just a couple calls that immediately popped into my mind, there were others calls which I will not go back and search through and find(nitpicking) because there is no purpose in doing so. The Heat played aggressive defense especially on the Thunder’s big 3… after game 1 Lebron took the challenge to physically make it tough on Durant(im not saying he shut him down but he did make things tougher), Dwade was a big part taking Harden out of the series, and in Westbrook case the Heat wanted him to be a jump shooter/ the scorer because they would rather have him go off and take more shots than to have Durant go off. The Heat won the rebounding battles, had more points in the paint, and was making it to the free throw line more in the majority of the series. I could understand the Thunder losing the free throw/points in the paint statistic because the Heat have 2 players who specialize at getting to the rim(better then almost every other player especially lebron) but for Thunder to also lose the rebounding battles shows that their bigs didn’t play big. The Thunder are the bigger team but they didn’t play like it. These are the REAL reasons why the Thunder lost not the refs having a “serious impact” on the game. No, the bad/missed calls weren’t “one sided” as you say… butt hurt Thunder fans/Miami Heat haters think that. While “true fans” know the officiating wasn’t a “serious impact” on the game. The majority of the calls were correct and some were bad.

Yes the refs do decide who goes to the free throw line when they see unnecessary contact which they will call accurately most of the time. But like I said the refs aren’t responsible of who is aggressive and who is not. Looking back on the whole series the top 2 players that were the most aggressive in terms of attacking the rim were Lebron and Wade(no surprise), yes westbrook should of gotten a few more calls in that game but most of the time he was jacking up pull up jump shots and Durant played his normal game which is more of a jump shooter than a guy who attacks the basket.

So you have a problem with the refs interacting with the coaches and players? I would agree with you on that it could be a toned down between the players and refs interacting. But on the “star treatment” issue I disagree with you on that. People fail to realize the majority of players have conversation with refs before/during the game not just “star players”. The players who assert themselves by being aggressive and attacking the rim obviously gets more calls than less aggressive players. Let me ask you this question; were you complaining this much about the “star treatment” in the previous series or did this all came up in the Finals because reading back on your previous post you have made It clear that you do hate Lebron and wanted him(Heat) to lose so it sounds weird that you are complaining now when there shouldn’t be a reason too (about the officiating having a “serious impact” on that series when it wasn’t).
