Reason why Itachi is a bad match up for Minato pair minato with someone else

I pictured this fight in the Grassy field from Naruto shippuden storm 2.

Activating the MS b4 minato FTGs
okay a lot of ppl say the weak thing about MS is that it takes a bit of time to activate and the window of opportunity is all minato needs to kill itachi.Well i wuld say this. Remember when pain thought he killed kakashi with the nail but he kamui'd it in a split second with his MS. Another thing was when kakashi activated his MS at the last moment to kamui sasukes's susanoo arrows(described by danzo to be so fast their almost unavoidable). On top of that The kunai minato takes out takes time to grab/throw as well... i think it be obvious he actually has to take the kunai out first. So many ppl like to start the fight with itachi at a time disadvantage. Minato battle ready with his kunai and itachi has to find the time to take out his MS. Well what if the tables were turned and minato had to take his kunai out still and itachi had an amaterasu ready to fire? get my point u cant just start someone with a handicap.Besides its not like in football were u have to count to freakin 5 miss sippys b4 u can rush the guy, the MS isn't that annoying to take out. And lastly on that how many times have we seen kishi start a fight the split second the other character sees the the other. We always see a stand off but ppl on this site cant except that.

FTG with kunai
lets get straight into it .... So minato's FTG is mainly used with kunai .... already this is bad for him against itachi. Itachi is one of or possibly the best kunai thrower in manga(ex. sasuke vs itachi). So getting a kunai that culd actually get close to him would be pretty hard and itachi having the mangekyo could keep with plenty of kunais at once if minato were to try and spam his kunai throws to try and get one past.MS has shown various times the speeds it can keep up with.
Well some ppl idk why wen i have posted this have told me he can teleport to the paper with the FTG seal on it and said he can use rocks and sticks and w/e.

well okay whats the difference? im pretty sure he can still get rid of minato throwing a rock like he wuld minato throwing a kunai. And how else wuld minato use FTG? he's not going to put a seal on the ground beside him and teleport to that, that wuld be stupid.

Another thing is some ppl say he can quickly throw a kunai at the start and teleport to that. Well itachi isnt a helpless baby without his sharingan. he culd still deflect it with his own kunai. If u still dont believe me look at wen itachi is kunai training and sasuke was watching wen they were young although i hardly think an example is needed....

Genjutsu

we all know that itachi doesnt need direct eye contact with the person to get them in a genjutsu. If minato were to try and counter this by not looking at him an amaterasu wuld end it. He wuld eventually have to look at him because itachi is no push over ninja.

Well everyone says that the genjutsu with his hand is weak and minato wuld easily get out of it. Seriously?!?!? something i wanna set straight is that just because a genjutsu isnt tsukuyomi it makes it weak. When naruto was caught in this genjutsu he was causing a large disturbance in his chakra but culdnt break out of it...he needed lady chio's and sakura's help to escape. On top of that naruto clearly described how realistic the genjutsu felt.Proving that it wasnt weak.

Well a a lot of ppl wuld say that Naruto is just bad at genjutsu. But Danzo was good with genjutsu and we all saw how an actual weak genjutsu f**kd him up the arse.

Now how wuld the genjutsu it's self mess up minato? well even a weak genjutsu takes time to break out off. Just because Itachi isnt as fast as minato does it mean he's slow either. He could easily cover the distance between himself and Minato and do what a lot of ppl say minato wuld do to itachi..cut his throat.
Some ppl may say 'but u cant move if ur using a genjutsu'. which wuld be wrong because wen sasuke casted a genjutsu on danzo he was moving just fine. In fact the only thing that stopped sasuke from stabbing danzo in the back wen he was under genjutsu was that curse mark.

Susano

with everything ive listed the susano is only really insurance. The yata mirror blocks jutsus. The FTG no matter how u turn it is a jutsu. It wuld be repelled and the theory that Minato could teleport into susano wuld not work. also if itachi decided to use the sword one hit while minatos under genjutsu wuld end it.

Ultimately tho opinion of ppl is > than facts so I guess the dispute will continue but seriously just do like minato vs Danzo...idk but it wuld be a better match up

Why everyone here seem so far picking on itachi or make a thread about itachi!!!??? its very clear that you all are jealous of him and I bet everyone know itachi is powerful and very clever but some of you avoid it. itachi and minato is an awesome in different ways and they are hero in different ways minato could win or itachi could win, who know!!?? u all can't guess because we don't see minato much of his power and itachi hadn't shown all his power so END OF F**KING STORY!!!!

People are not starting the fight with minato having all ready spammed the battle field with kunai just because they want itachi at a disadvantage, they do this because the battle would go no other way...

yeah i agree with this especially and the part about starting the fight with an unfair advantage over the other nice effort and atleast your opinion is backed up by facts unlike other peoples who just say minato>itachi , because minato has his kunai in his hand which is faster then itachi activating MS , :/ personally im neutral on the subject minato=itachi i guess but REP+ anyway i like it when people put thought and effort into their threads

The fact that itachi has to consistently use tech as strenuous as MS just to last against him says something...

It won't matter anyway minato can continue teleporting amateras and any other susanoo attack on itachi is out of juice, he has the reflexes to do so.

You mean STB?and i already told you its incoming attacks that are specifically directed at it. amaterasu has a fixation point where it starts therefore it is specifically targeted at minato not like a tbb in minatos general direction so STB fails against amatuerasu and genjutsu.

I was thinking that but itachi's susanoo sword wuld cut the chakra lines and dystroy the puppets. Anyways I don't think sasori has anything to counter susanoo... But idk what u might thinkin so

Both are strategical fighters and things like accidentally walking on a kuni/marked areas or looking into an opponents eyes is not happening.

Well no duh he's a hokage , he's not a joke of course itachi needs MS on him. But honestly that can literally be countered by itachi stepping out of range of the markings and deflecting the kunai and not letting them get behind him.

you guys make it sound like Itachi can stay in Susano'o all day, he can stay in it for like 10 mins MAX (i doubt even 5) so Minato just has to dodge Sword of Totsuka for 10 minutes and than take down completely tired blind Itachi
