So, the Nara clan have the Hidden ninjutsu of shadow possession, shadow strangle, and etc. It is not a KG, but rather passed down orally through the generations. However, the time of clan warfare has passed, so what is the Nara clan's reason for still keeping their jutsus hidden from other trustworthy leaf shinobi, or the Hokage himself/herself? I feel like someone with a larger chakra pool would be much more effective with the jutsu, thus increasing the power of the leaf. My question is, do you think it is time for the clans of the leaf to share their jutsu with shinobi that both the clan and the Hokage deem fit? That way it could still be hidden jutsu, but would increase the might and available tactics of the leaf ninja (assuming the treaty between the villages ends after the war).

I mean, they could. But why think logically when Kishi can just use plot to deem that unfit? :D

Using this technique effectively requires geniuses like Shikamaru and Shikaku. Not to mention, Shikamaru actually has average(3 in the databook) stamina. It's just that it's an extremely straining technique.

I get what you're saying, but there are other ninja such as Kakashi who also have a 5 in intelligence and a 3 in stamina that could benefit from having this tech. Just imagine a shadow possession and kamui combo. Also, while being a genius makes this jutsu much more effective, it couldn't hurt any decently intelligent shinobi's arsenal. However, this is meant to be more of a big picture idea (like how the anbu leaders could use it in situations that require discretion, or how it could in general give trusted members of the leaf shinobi an excellent jutsu to use should the need arise).
