Its not about Naruto's power being = to 50% of Kurama's.

Its their ability to work together that makes them 'powerful' - not expressed as a 'powerlevel' but rather their ability to fight together.

You cant base a Tailed beasts power JUST on the size of the TBB, im sure there are other factors that come into play. Perhaps its amount of chakra 'available' that determines size of the beast - and therefore Kurama = smaller without Naruto.

Minato sealed half of the kyubi's chakra in Naruto so that the seal would hold Naruto but over the years the chakra started regenerating and when part 2 hit all of the kyubi's chakra came back that's why whenever he got mad it was easy for him to enter all the tails.

From my memory, the seal was weakening over time as Kurama weakened Naruto's willpower, the seal also 'naturally' weakened as Kurama's power oozed out - atleast thats what Jiraiya said (from memory!)

Well. Whenever you use genjutsu, ninjustu, etc. you lose chakra right? But you also gain it back after a certain amount of time. The Reaper Deal Seal is supposed to be used for sealing away a person's soul, not chakra, but it can be used for it. Kurama got half of his chakra taken from him by Minato, but that doesn't mean that he can't gain it back. That's why I used Orochimaru as an example, it shows that it isn't permanent when you don't use the Reaper Deal Seal for sealing the soul. So, back to the topic, Kurama basically got half of his chakra taken away, and like everything else, Kurama can gain it all back through time.

I don't think it was 90/10 tho of course Kurama has alot more chakra than Naruto has but they SYNC so it is them who owned 5 beasts at the same time. (Tho i believe kurama without Naruto may have owned them too).

But i don't believe just because Kurama is powerhouse we should belittle Naruto. I mean it was him after all controlling Kurama.

Anyways to back to thread i still believe that no matter how much chakra you have, you can be stronger than someone who has more chakra than you.

hmm going back to this. even though i think u are 95% right. kurama fed of naruto's hatred and those moments when he felt really down and ish to suck his chakra and that way start "taking over" naruto's body. naruto's hatred and moments when he started losing hope made him enter the tails mode. remember his training in the island.

I don't think kurama would be smaller without naruto. remember when it was still hostile and attacked the village and that, what was the source of its power? hatred, revenge, all that malicious shit. those aren't naruto's top "qualities" so if anything it (kurama) is smaller with naruto.

Unless..with them working together and kurama's going all good and tht the source of its power turns to the good.

I know my opinion doesn't hold any value, but neither does yours. You say that Kurama doesn't have a physical body, but he did have one. But now that he's sealed within Naruto, he doesn't have one. When Kurama was first shown in the series, you could see that he did have a body. Also, the manga has stated that the more tails a Bijuu has the stronger it is, but it has also been stated that tails doesn't equal to strength; how are we supposed to take those words as fact when Kurama proved to be stronger or equal to five Bijuu?

Some theories are worth reading into, but this one does not interest me... at all.

RDS took away half of Kurama's chakra, but why exactly couldn't it regenerate? Shinobi regenerate chakra over time and the same goes for tailed beasts.
