Danzo in bandages before massacre of uchihas

chapter 590 showed us that before the massacre, danzo had been in bandages. Seems like he'd been collecting/implanting eyes of uchihas long way before it. Do you agree with me..? The massacre seemed not itachi alone, but root and tobi helped it.

Just finished reading the chapter now...I really wander what's going through Danzo's mind through all this honestly. Is he good, is he bad...or just an extreme dictator pushed by excessive heart for the village?

2) He most likely was already experimenting/implanting Hashirama cells
3) He had Suishi's eye before the massacre as well
4) Bandages just look cool sometimes (Muu, Zabuza, etc) xd

I thought that shisui's eye was danzo's left eye... in which case that is correct because the chapter opens with shisui losing his eye to danzo, in which case danzo would have transplanted it immediately

Danzou had already done the experiment with eyes/hashi DNA before the massacre. He also had Shisui's eye before the massacre.
