Assuming Minato had survived there would of not been plans for a coup d'etat. I'm sure he would of informed the elders about the existence of "Uchiha Madara" and how the attack was his sole attempt at world domination.

I've always thought about this but I doubt the coup de'tat wouldve happened if he was alive. The reason why they even planned it was because the Leaf didn't trust them after Kurama attacked Konoha. They blamed the uchiha for it because they thought they controlled Kurama like Madara did with his sharingan. Which caused them to get secluded in a part of the village which led to the plan to coup de'tat Konoha. Though if Minato survived he would know Tobi was behind it all. Thus the uchiha wouldn't have staged it in the first place because Konoha would still have their trust.
