Hmm what I don't understand is, he has rinnegan, why not use rinne rebirth on himself. Then he's come back as a real live human, not some walking soul.... But Idk, or what about tobi using the technique, he apparently knows that he can't win without the edo tensei, and he knows Madara had been activated by kabuto.

I think he isn't going anywhere, kishi likes to twist the story around a lot, and right now skilled be perfect lol

Seriously, he's gone guys. If the Edo Tensei wasnt cancelled when it was the 5 kage would probably get owned by his perfect susanoo. Kishi isn't going to kill all 5 kage, and there's no reason why madara would be able to overpower the edo tensei. Him and itachi had the ability to resist kabuto controlling them, but they are physically dead and when the technique stops they are goners.

BTW to the people saying "why not use rinne rebirth on himself" We don't have any reason to believe that he can use the technique on himself. Plus, doesnt he need to be alive to use the technique? If the edo tensei is released he is DEAD. If he is DEAD he can't use rinne rebirth, and if he is ALIVE rinne rebirth will do nothing. But who knows, kishi likes to pull stuff out of his ass so maybe I will be proven wrong, but i give it a very small chance.

He CANNOT use the rinnegan rebirth on himself, because he isn't dead! That only revives people who are dead! He is NOT dead, he was revived by Edo Tensei. And once Edo Tensei is released, his soul will be released to death again, and he won't be able to cast it because he will be dead!!!!

Also, Izanagi won't do anything, he doesn't know how Edo Tensei is being released, and so he can't use it to change that. It doesn't work!

He is gone. Besides Rinne Rebirth requires the soul of the person you are bringing back to be in the afterlife Madara's isn't. And Izanagi simply undoes the users last action and can't allow him to cheat fading away.
