Is Tobi the same guy throughout the years?

...But overall, sucky chapter. Last chapter wall called Edo´s Release and we have not seen the technique released yet. We did not need thirteen pages to excuse Itachi´s actions, especially when so little details changed. This rivals the chapter where Kurama got his name revealed.

So far it seems the Kages lost and predictably got saved by Itachi...You got part one Naruto claiming that there is no such thing as destiny, but now you have five great ninja who trained all their life to become the best of the best, only to have the DESTINY of losing the bloodline limits and specialized genes. Tsuchikage training all his life could not give him enough improvement to rival Madara`s genes. Hard work alone is not enough. Part one Naruto was about using your brains and part two has just become about having the right genes.

Anyways, this is confusing me...The Tobi that fought Minato had the Senju-style mask and short hair...

During the coup Tobi has the Senju mask and long hair. He also seems to be pretty tall and imposing on the top left panel...

Then some time later he´s got short hair again, and is using the Uzumaki style mask. He also doesn´t seem that tall or imposing.

Were Madara and Tobi going around with the same masks switching places where convenient? Or did Tobi really let his hair grow out, switch mask styles, and cut it again? Tobi´s entire body seems to be made of White Zetsu material since he loses his right arm against Torune, and he takes major damage to the left arm against Minato...So he is clearly not Madara.

OT: Keep in mind that Itachi was pretty young when he went to speak with Tobi. As far as we know he might have grown quite a bit since then.

I have looked into the heights of itachi, kisame and sasuke and the long haired madara always seems taller. Maybe it is just a mistake but look at the panels with the long haired madara and itachi.

That supports my theory that Madara died only recently withing days of Nagato attacking the leaf.

but at that time wasnt itachi like 14? he most likely wasnt fully grown yet. so it would make sense for madara to look much tallerif he was a fairly tall guy

I just reminded you that Itachi was vey young then. He ought to have grown. And Sasuke is smaller than Tobi
