I think that with Madara gone the five Kage's realize that they lost and only survived by a mere chance. This destroys their spirit and leads to problems later on. I doubt they can help Naruto in their current state they are pretty much out of power. They will probably need medical attention. When Naruto goes to fight Sasuke they will probably doubt whether or not he can stop him because of this.
