To the NB Community,
I am nearing my 1st year on NB this August and I have had quite a wild ride in the time between. I wanted to thank everyone on here for all the help they offered when I really needed it. Especially advice from people I admire greatly. I am happy to have seen many rising stars in my time here and seen them flourish. I remember when most of you were just noobs looking for a chance to prove yourselves. You have done quite well and I am proud for all of you. I am happy especially to have met so many wonderful people, more so the chance to get to know the legends of this site. Although I do miss the old times I look forward to the endless possibilities the future holds. I feel so grateful for all your help NB and for being here for me when I needed a shoulder to lean on.
I have some advice for all the new people. Never give up on your dreams no matter how many people tell you it is not possible. Believe in yourself and there is nothing you can't do. Keep trying and working hard and in time you will reap the benefits of your success.
And on the final note, thank you silent heroes of NB who log on everyday to try to make a difference in these people's lives. Whether it be through art, teaching, or just leaving inspiring comments on people's profiles or when a new member joins NB. You don't know how much difference it makes in the lives of everyone on NB. Especially the staff who do all this crazy stuff that we don't see (Right Mathias?
).
