So, I was playing around with some border ideas, and I may have come across one I may like. It really depends on what you NBers think.

Here are some examples (Note, same type of border style, although different variations)

Don't focus on the avatar itself (Yes, I know it's not a good render or background, but oh well. Not the point xD) I just want to know your guys' opinions on the border style. Also, I did mess up on the part concerning the dashed border itself, ignore that for now.

Maybe some potential?

I think the rainbow color scheme is really busy. It would only work with a very limited amount of pictures.

I personally don't like it unless, the avatar is colorful, but maybe you could change the varations of the hues depending on the avatar, like if your avatar is purple, the border could have different hues of that color...

Yeah, I suppose that's a good idea. Maybe a nice switch-up from regular borders . Noticed I was starting to repeat border styles so I looked for new ones. This was the outcome, although I wasn't sure if it was good or bad. So I decided to post here in hopes that you people could help me decide ._.

I agree with this, but I'd try going with just two colours from the avatar and not a 3 or 4 different ones

Though I suggest you using a thinner border, thinner by a pixel or two ^^~ Will look neater and better imo c:
