Do you think Naruto would have been stronger or weaker if his parents never died and trained him?

Nah his dad gave him nine tails so that one day he could control it. If they didn't die naruto would just have perfect sage mode.

hard to say. the question is if his parents were alive will he have the ninetails or will it still be in his mother.

His hardships and determination (that origionated from his determination to be noticed and admired) are what made him who and what he is today. That includes his strength.

His childhood sucks, but we don't want to bring the butterfly effect into Plot No Jutsu.

Naruto is fine the way he is. If his parents managed to live after all then he would be considerably weaker but I bet he would make up for it in other ways like learning his dad's FTG and Sealing Techniques from Kushina.

I would Assume Kushina would've had to choose another Jinchuuriki, so maybe Naruto could have become the next one.

IDK, he would probably be strong. Mostly, he would be rank Jounin for being trained by his father and mother, and respect by the village because his father is Hokage. I don't think he would have Sage Mode or Multi-Shadow Clone Technique.

^There are some that suggest Naruto may be stronger without Kurama because the seal holds back his natural Uzumaki chakra, which is huge to begin with. I think the pain of not having his parents has pushed him to what he is. He'd be weaker without that experience.

He'd probably be faster physically, have FTG, and a lot of sealing techs. He'd also probably have Rasengan, but I don't know whether he'd have the capability to learn Rasenshuriken without Kurama's chakra.

And he'd possibly have Sage Mode.

Why wouldn't he have sage mode, jiraiya did and actually because of the nine tails inside of him ma and pa couldn't merge with him. So he actually would of had a stronger sage mode. And uzumaki's have great chakra reserves so he would still be able to do multi-shadow clone tech but not as much clones I believe.

Yeah, I don't know whether I agree or not. There's some validity to the argument, but there's no concrete proof either way. It's whatever you choose to believe.

I know it was for the plot, but maybe Minato should have thought the sealing through a little more. He could have just been like, "I'm the Yondaime - you, civilian over there with the pink hair! Yes you with the extremely large forehead! Get over here and sacrifice your soul! No? It's either that or I seal the Kyuubi into your child. Thats what I thought. Don't worry, we will tell tales of your sacrifice."

But seriously, Kushina could have probably pulled a sealing technique out of her ass and sealed the Kyuubi inside of Naruto keeping them all alive and happy. Chiyo did...sorta.

I think he would be strong, FTG, seal technique's, rasengan variations, and maybe even perfect Sage, but he could not have been as strong as he is now, because he would not have had the same determination and drive that came from 1. the absense of his parents. 2. the fact he was a jinchuuriki and the negative attention he got for it. Because if he weren't able to build that bond with Kurama then he would never be able to reach Rikudou mode.

I understand how you feel, but Naruto achieved most of his techniques through "Plot," however, it is still a possibilty. Along with the others someone stated above ^^ (or other page) could be the other reason (e.g. The Village..., Kyuubi..., Jiraiya's death, and etc.) that all play a part.

He wouldnt be nearly as strong, he would be a lot less tough too.
