Well, keep sending a steady stream of moku chakra channeled into the pillar. Allow the pillar to become slightly bigger in size, being width. However keep it compressed as possible. Doing this should further exceed the pillars durability and strenght, allowing it to give more impact upon damage, and whatnot.

I stand firm and extend my hands yet again, and then clap them together in an awesome manner. In doing so, I begin to focus the same proportion of chakra and focus it into the pillar again. By doing this, I manipulate the pillars structure making it durable and whatnot. I then, by focusing my chakra onto it, force the pillar to splinter in every direction in the form of an explosion composed of wood and chakra.
And the rank of the explosion is the rank of the wood jutsu being exploded right? O_O

Now for probably the most exhausting jutsu, and probably the most usage of chakra, you will ever come to use... Rise of Asgaard. A part of my personal collection of Viking CJs. However I'm gonna pass it down to you.
*Shows a row of eight different hand signs, ending with the snake one. I then bow down placing my palm onto the ground.* Perform these and pratice. Once done so, perform them a final time, and as demostrated by me, place your palm onto the ground.
Upon placing your palm onto the ground, release and extreme amount of chakra throughout the entire field, and beyond. Once done so, start moldning the chakra, and slowly cause wooden towers, walls and houses to erupt, from the ground, along with a great hall.
This is the Rise of Asgaard, the home of the Gods. Upon recreating this master piece the surrounding enviroments will shake, and so it will upon it's descend, back into the depths of this very earth.
*15 seconds of you, having your palm on the ground you can finally relax as the entire city of Asgaard stands before you. You feel huge strain on your body, however it comes, giving having to create such a big construction. Over half your chakra been used, and needs to be replenished. *I'll be pwning xD.

I stand firm and practice the sequence of eight hand signs that you showed me, ending them with the snake hand sign. I perform them again until I get the hang of it, and for one last time replicate it and upon finishing with the snake hand sign I bow down to one knee and place my palms onto the floor. Once done with all that, I exert an extreme amount of chakra into the ground, that covers the entire field and even beyond. Where I then, begin molding all this chakra, forcefully changing the terrain of the entire field. Causing wooden towers, walls and houses all to erupt from out of the ground. Along with these a great hall erupts with them. After having performed the impossible, the Rise of Asgaard comes shining, everything stands tall and proud, before descending back to the depths of the very Earth.
I limp on one leg as we scurries ourselves towards the house. And then after the tremendous time taken to get there, I sit down on a chair and fall asleep face flat on the table.
Yeh, the obvious choice... Chair instead of the bed. <.<...
I watch you perform the sequence of hand signs and then replicate them for myself, ending the sequence with the snake hand sign. Once done doing so, I force Asgaard to descend back into the depths of this very earth, vanishing for eternity until it's rise is performed by me once again.
