Missing battles in the war?

It appears to me, with the war coming to an end, that Kishi could've extended war a lot more. In fact, there were a number of match ups I was looking forward to that aren't going to happen now:

1. Edo Chiyo vs. Sakura
2. Edo Kimimaro vs. Lee

Are there any others you would've liked to see? Would it have been worth drawing out the story?

Number 1 would be extended in the Anime, possibly. Unsure about 2 and 3 though. Also, Mifune isn't EDO, Hanzou was.

On-topic: I would just like seeing the Mifune and Hanzou fight.
