Ok, so, hi. I'd just like to rant about something.
This thread might have been done before, but...
It just amazes me how many stupid, completely illogical and irrational people there are in this world.
I would use Justin Bieber (who I'm not a fan of, but for God sake I don't want to MURDER the guy) as an example, but since this is Narutobase, I guess I'll use Sasuke (please don't comment on how he's not real. I know that)
Ok, so- what's the deal here? I get it if you've hated Sasuke from the very beginning because of his dark attitude and his lack of talking or whatever or something like that, that's completely understandable. But hating him for his revenge? How would you know that you wouldn't do the same thing, because I know I would want to get revenge if my brother killed his entire clan. As if that wouldn't traumatize a person enough. And then finding out that the entire time he'd actually been the good guy and that I'd been the one to kill him? Just imagine that, and try to imagine how much pain that would bring a person. Calling him gay isn't relevant to his personality whatsoever, and hating on him because he's gay is stupid because we all don't have any proof of that (proof that's true and not photoshopped). You can't use that "kiss" that Naruto and Sasuke had in the beginning of the series because that was a complete accident and meant for humor. Calling him heartless? That's not right either, because he's only become that way because of all the things he's been through. I myself probably would've gone insane and lost myself before he had if I'd gone through what he has.
The point is, if you're going to insult someone, make sure they deserve it and that it's actually relevant to that person's personality. I just used Sasuke as an example- this applies mostly to real life, not just anime. Celebrities and even just normal every day people get hated on for something so incredibly unsupported by logic and filled with irrational hate that it hurts my head to see it.
Insulting someone that you don't even know, or insulting someone's way of life that they have as a result of some kind of pain that they had experience at some point in their life, is completely... just stupid, and you should keep your off comments to yourself.
