Prometheus Was awful.

Thank God I'm not the only one who didn't like Prometheus.
It was really generic, imo. The suspense and claustrophobic feel of the first film was lost, and I felt that the rest of the series was far superior. The characters were barely memorable, and I had no sense of attachment to them at all.

Good for a mediocre sci-fi flick, I guess, but it certainly didn't feel related to the Alien series at all.

Incorrect. The worst movie ever was Land of the Lost with Will Ferrel.

That being said, Prometheus was not that great. The plot had several holes in it and the attention to detail was minimal. However, it was visually striking and the special effects were pretty top notch. I'd give it a 6.5/10.

I thought it was brilliant (hence my sig xd). This was my reaction when I watched it on the day of its release.

As the title says, Prometheus was brilliant! It took you on an epic ride into deep philosophy and space. Rather than answering questions for us it will make you ask even more questions at the end. Now if you are one of those hardcore fans of the Alien franchise then I suggest you to keep low expectations as it does not fully indulge into that area yet, there are some elements but not entirely. Ridley Scott made sure that it was compatible for hardcore fans and for people who just want to enjoy a few hours of film.

There are scenes of breath-taking views, elements of horror and a particular scene that will make you go "That was worth it" even if you didnt enjoy the film throughout. Oh and Michael Fassbender playing "not a single f*ck giving" android was superbly well acted.

The holes are there which will be hopefully explained in the sequel (already in talks). To each his own I guess.
