It could go either way, but if it's Current Naruto and is just restricted to only using RM then he stands a bigger chance since Kurama can transfer his chakra directly and he doesn't have to steal it and be restricted KBs.

Wait, I'm not sure what OP means by Chakra Mode, if he means Bijuu Mode from chapter 571, or the mode he got after stomping Kurama around 500. I assumed it was the latter, so yeah

I wasn't implying they're more or less equal, I was implying(actually outright stating rofl) that they're far far far from equal and have such a gigantic difference in power. So much that it goes from "Eh, it could go either way but I'd tip the scales in Naruto's favor," to "Naruto effing destroys with practically no difficulty at all."

Minato high diff. Minato is smarter than Naruto and able to come up with complex tactics. Naruto just charges in there with no thought process. Raw power isn't everything in a fight.

Ok, in that case Naruto fodderizes Minato with fairly little effort. The very best Minato can pull is a tie but other than death seal which has a very very small chance of actually working, he gets destroyed.

Naruto no problem. He has sensing, and his rasengans are more advanced and he has chakra arms and kage bushin and speed>telleportation anyday.

If it was just KM then it could go either way but if BM naruto. Don't forget minato left the nine tails for naruto for this reason it wouldn't make sense if he wasn't going to be stronger then him because then why the hell did he kill him self.
