the one thing all manga have in common

i was talking some buddies a few days ago and we were catching up with all the manga we watched, and the one thing i noticed that ALL the main characters always get ridiculously strong faster than anybody else in their universes history.. (with a few exceptions) like yu yu hakusho, one piece, dbz, bleach and of course naruto, in all these manga the main character will get the power just under or even above than the most previous bada$$ that everybody is afraid of in a matter of less then 5 years most of the time.

oh and to point out with some of these manga they have been the most of these guys have been around for very long periods of time getting stronger and stronger some instances hundreds to thousands of years, and here comes this random guy that gets strength equivalent to their own in a fraction of the time.. lol

everybody trains.. and gokus training made him stronger than the whole ginyu force when he fought vegeta just the months ago he was weak compared to him. and vegeta couldnt even fight one of them. excpept the short 4 eyed guys.. i forget his name
