Nagato would defeat Itachi with great ease. The key is Chibaku Tensei, Itachi has no counter.
TSUKUYOMI-you can't cast a genjutsu on rocks.
AMATERASU-by the time he's finished preparing it, the core will already be surrounded by many rocks that would be set ablaze by the black flames instead of the core itself.
TOTSUKA-this sword most likely isn't capable of piercing through large solid mass of rock. Why? Because it is a variant of the Kusanagi. Orochimaru used the Kusanagi to push four tailed Naruto back several meters but when it pushed the miniature fox to a solid mass of rock, he couldn't push him through it. How would the Totsuka push through a solid mass of rock literally made of mountains?
YASAKA MAGATAMA-this technique cannot destroy a CT sphere. Most people dont know this but Six Tailed Naruto actually tried a TBB on the CT sphere and it couldn't stop it, Yasaka Magatama is a technique that was stopped by a Rock Golem and sand, compare that to a TBB.
For those who may say Nagato won't get the chance to use CT, any attack Itachi dishes at him will be repelled, Nagato has enough sense to avoid eye contact as he knew about Itachi's Mangekyo to the point that he could tell Amaterasu was to be used by a shift in the air, Tsukuyomi will be known to him and the fact that Orochimaru, a Sannin was defeated by a Sharingan genjutsu is enough for Nagato to avoid it, especially since he doesn't need it due to linked vision with summons. Non eye contact genjutsu will be immediately detected as Nagato is a sensor and it will be promptly broken. And of course there's no flaming, you are arguing with Owari and Ryuu, wait till they get bored

You didn't say anything about Yata Mirror which is the most and only important part to the CT equation. @ Tosuka sword, well, Kyuubi skin is thicker than mountains :shrug: and this has full momentum behind it with the gravity pulling it. It is a legendary sword and it's ****ing huge I doubt it would be the least bit dull.

But make your Itachi argument if you wish. Now EMS Madara huge Susano'o I'm really not sure he could Preta path that whole thing and it won't try to stab him. This issue needs to be addressed IMO assuming he can't use shinra tensei at the same time as Preta path but he might he's used two paths at the same time before. Imagine an entire swimming pool is hostile and wants to hurt you. You take a vacuum cleaner to it and start sucking up the water. That's gonna take a while before all the water is gone.

it took like 5 seconds or under for the unstabilized form calm down he wont be pulled in that fast. Besides if he draws madra in his superior taijutsu can help him or he justs gets close enough to do genjutsu.

I'd like to know how Susanoo will concentrate on defending itself from Gedo Mazo whilst Nagato absorbs the chakra. The Susanoo would be getting ever weaker by the second whilst trying to fight Gedo Mazo. It will also not remain stabilized.

dumbass using shunshinig doesnt mean you have to runaway in case you forgot when raikage used it with his armor against sasuke and when he used it against madara.
