I mean he is suppoused to be a badass with his gold dust, yet he gets killed by Orochimaru without even fighting

Oro was did a surprise attack/ambush with kimimaru. They were supposed to be allies and Oro killed him. No matter how good you are if you let you guard down you die.

Orochimaru is kage level by himself, and Kimimaro and Kabuto at the time were Kakashi level or maybe slightly below. That combination will take down pretty much all of the current kage, especially in a surprise attack

Ppl also forget the 4th had his guards along with him, he in the desert and his own battlefield.

Surprise attack has never been shown to occur to any Kage, they usually sense the presence of an outsider.

Good reasoning, I like it, but anyways the 4th kazekage was quite weak, at least compared to other kages.

a sneak attack. if you look at the manga page where it shows the kazekage being stabbed.
there is no sign tht there was any struggle (no one looked tired, no marks on the ground, kazekage was wearing his hat). and the stab was straight thru the back. so ya, sneak attack

I wonder that Kabuto said that Oro did a great job killing 2 of the 5 kages, so why would he compliment Oro for killing the 4th kazekage if it was just a sneak attack without any fight? But maybe its just plot and kabuto is a fawning.
