And of course he can use both Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu, because only those who have mastered this techniques can use Susanoo. Besides Madara was the one who fully controlled the Kyuubi, so his Genjutsus are at least on Itachis level.

I hate double posting, but actually he wouldn't need to use his sword. He can absorb as much as he wants when he's fused and he has shark bullet that absorbs infinite amount as it grows stronger and larger.

Madara doesn't have Amaterasu. Even if he did Samehada can absorb it. Tsukuyomi (IF he gets caught in it.) can be disrupted via Samehada, and while he's fused his chakra is continually disrupted.

Even if it wasn't meant for the Kages without Susanoo he can't use that sword.
