Sitting in the shade underneath a tree, my legs crossed, waiting for Kaito.
The Crumbling creak of broken wood suddenly fills your ears when you are then flung across the ground in a roll as splinters and spikes flicker through the air around you, the sound of the creaking growing ever loader as a overlooming shadow decends upon you with the great oak tree falling down towards you.
Kaito:Think fast maggot
By hearing the sound of wood breaking from the angle of where the tree was. I catch myself about 2 meters from the base of the tree, and dash at it as it starts to fall. as I draw near, I send a strong kick to the base, breaking the tree off completely, causing it to rise into the air, high enough to create an opening for me to escape through. I jump through the opening as soon as enough space is created, moving my body forwards, laying in mid air, landing behind the tree, using my front two hands to cross each other as I land on them and rolling on my right shoulder, making a harmless successful landing.
Kaito: Good, now then lets begin with some basic level taijutsu. Tell me how would you respond to someone delivering a basic punch?
Hmm, I would first raise one of my arms and deflect it by hitting their wrist or forearm with my wrist or forearm, knocking their arm away allowing me to follow up with striking the opening I made on the side that they punched with.
Be abit more detailed with the striking the opening, in taijutsu being clear and descriptive is a key aspect
Very well. The opening that is made is in a few ways. When they strike, they leave one of their sides open, let's say they punch with their left hand. I deflect it away by hitting their wrist/forearm with my right, knocking their arm away. I can then freely attack them while only needing to deal with their free arm for that instant. But I take advantage of every second, and strike their ribs or abdominal area to knock the air from their lungs or strike any part really as for those 1-2 seconds I only have to deal with their free arm, which I can use the same method on as I did their left arm if they try to strike still or guard. Thus I expand the openings that the opponent has given me and take advantage of them greatly. By the time I have deflected their arm, my fist is inches away from them while theirs are further, giving me the upper hand. They are forced to use their closest hand to block the fist, I simply use my hand I began with to intercept that fist and land a blow, depending on how the match plays out. My method is to intercept until I out wit the opponent and then strike while they are most defenseless.
Very good method. ^^
another note with that method in regards to their kicks they can attempt to kick you but their kicking is limited most people generally kick using their arms as balance and swining motions kicking is more effective with motion of the body restrict the motion of the body, ultimately restricts the power of which they can kick.
Another method when blocking a punch is by grabbing their arm and twisting it round causing tension and then thrusting a elbow strike into the joint and due to the tension you would break the elbow rendering the arm completely useless. Or you can simply punch into their armpitt after grabbing their arm and then dislocating the shoulder as well as causing excrutiating pain.
Very method as well. ^^
Now then are you familiar with the wax on , wax off methods?
Indeed I am
Good explain then how wax on and wax off are used and do so in seperate paragraphs please
The wax on wax off method is to demonstrate blocking as well as trapping.
Wax on. Wax on allows you to knock the opponents arm away, blocking their punches and then as your arm come around in a rotation building momentum and shortening the distance, wasting no time you can swiftly block their kicks. This method can be used to generally defend against multiple strikes with quick response.
The training method of wax on wax off is generally, that it builds strength up, it builds muscle memory, helping you to learn that motion so that you can perform it quickly. Simple exercises like that are generally used to train the user to use that motion to an extent of not even needing to think about using it, it becomes a reflex, 2nd nature.
HOLY ISHT KAITO is training again. Study well Yard-san. U_U
HOLY ISHT KAITO is training again. Study well Yard-san. U_U
Good try and use the principles of blocking when in combat also, there is also the method within the karate kid film to block attacks by hitting upwards, or pushing them down which im sure you have seen?
Will do Goro-Sama U_U
My memory is a bit foggy of the film tbh xD Would you mind demonstrating to avoid future troubles? ^^
