LOL guys you are mistaken.why do you think one can go sage mode on the myobokuzan?narural energy is in nature and you can collect it whereever you want.if you noticed jiraya went sage mode while fighting pain.its simple!

if you remember pa frog-naruto dialog about side effects of sage mode,he told naruto that he would need some time to consentrade and gather natural energy and that's why he would need friend to give him the time.do you think pa frog thought naruto would fight on the mountain with his enemies?noone can even get there.simply noone knows where it is.plus it doesnot makes sence.so that theory is wrong!

I didn't say anything about myobokuzan. I said that he was required to stay still, which is why he keeps a bunshin back during battle. jiraya didn't have that limitation because he was able to fuse with ma and pa toad.

my post was not adressed to you.most of NB members think that one can go sage mode only on the mountain.and about jiraya thing....confusion does not mean you can go sage mode instantly.of course toads help you but still.if you read manga ettentively you would remember that jiraya escaped pain in pipes and bought some time to concentrate and go sage mode!

Good points Tsukoshi, theory is acceptable. The question is: Will a bunshin, when released, gives Naruto the collected natural energy. Before, a bunshin when released gives back knowledge/information to Naruto. It was not shown that he can transfer chakra from a clone.

That's only when the bunshin is released, it's not continuous. Which brings up my theory. We know that to do sage mode you have to be perfectly still, then you can use sage mode for a short period of time before you have to be perfectly still again to re-activate sage mode. This is what pa-toad was meaning when he said it's like looking in two directions at once. My theory is that Naruto is smart enough now that he figured out he can enter sage mode, create several bunshin and fight in sage mode. While fighting have at least one bunshin stay back being perfectly still just before time is up and collecting natural energy. The bunshin enters sage mode, then releases himself and it restores Naruto and the remaining bunshin with natural chakra. Then another bunshin can take that ones place and Naruto can create more bunshin to replace the one that left the battle field. This would, in effect, create a never ending cycle of a bunshin constantly being still, collecting natural energy and restoring Naruto's reserve while he focuses on the battle at hand.

Bunshin once released transfer there fatigue to Naruto because they are depleted to a greater or lesser degree depending on there activies since summoning. If a bunshin had went into sage mode they would not get depleted but actually there well of chakra would fill so the reverse happens when they release. Naruto gets a boost instead. Hope that makes since. Just my 2cp

Here's what i think!!!!!!!!!!Suppose Naruto learnt how 2 use hairs like J-Man use 2...We can say Naruto can keep Hairs still 2 absorb Natural energy while moving...Say his hairs will erect like SuperSaiyans. will grab natual energy. Since there are many hairs on body(I read somewhere dat there are 3000+ hairs on Human Body per every square inch..)it is not necessary 4 him 2 use all hairs at once 4 single purpose...Say Hairs on Head are used 4 defence and offence.. small, tiny hairs on body 4 gathering natural energy...If Naruto can do dat it'll also give 360 degree vision with no blind spot..

reverse kuchiyose or bunshin release with a seal... we will never know until the next chapter but as long as pa toad mentioned the left and right thing to naruto that would mean something that has to do with kagebunshins...

In order to balance out the weaknesses, Fukasaku and/or Shima must fuse to the user's shoulders, after which they help gather the natural energy required to sustain Hermit Mode, in other words, they can remain still while the user can move and not be defenseless. Fukusaku attempted to fuse with Naruto so that he could gather natural energy without having to stay still. However, the Nine Tails inside Naruto stops Fukusaku from fusing with him. Naruto decided to learn how to gather Natural Energy while moving. When Fukusaku tells Naruto that it is like looking left and right at the same time, Naruto gets an idea which is unknown to us at the moment, although it is likely that it has something to do with the Shadow Clone/Wind Release: Rasengan training he did with Kakashi. However, during Naruto's fight with Pain, neither Fukasaku nor Shima are seen on either shoulder, suggesting he may have discovered a way to overcome the weaknesses.

Now, i know everyone has their own say about this and i have read number of theories. How he does Sage mode outside frog mountain was not revealed yet. But, we know some things :

-The water/oil can be taken from the well ( but it losses its potency after sometime - correct me if im wrong.) to help reach Sage mode

- Kage bunshin (most popular theory) is left in the frog mountain to collect natural chakra. Even i believe this is the case. But, before Naruto uses Kage bunshin to collect information and to transfer knowledge (wind training and fight with kakuzu, etc.). It was not particularly said that he can let chakra flow from a clone to himself or vice versa.

- Sage mode has a time limit. He might have reached Sage mode in frog mountain and was summoned to Konoha along with the frogs and natural chakra has not ran out yet ( maybe we'll see naruto without Sage next issue )
